Read moreI normally wouldn’t take the time to leave a negative review, but I was so disappointed at our dinner last night that I felt compelled to. The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, but whoever was cooking in the back may have had “a few too many” before starting his shift. The blooming onion appetizer arrived in a bowl full of grease and the breading was already falling off. Draining grease from a deep fried food item is a pretty elementary skill, but I guess someone wasn’t on the ball during our visit. 🤷🏻♀️ I ordered a filet medium, with asparagus……what I received was a piece of chewy, dry, brown meat with absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The asparagus had zero seasoning as well, and when asked about it the waitress said it’s because “the asparagus is steamed”. The full order of baby rack ribs we ordered were untrimmed, fatty, and flavorless. The Bloomin’ Fried Chicken Sandwich was cold in the middle by the time we received it as well. The restroom floors were sticky which was off putting also. I very politely explained these issues to the waitress, and also made sure she understood that my complaints were no reflection on her service as she was incredibly attentive and kind. She said she would “mention it to her manager”, however she never mentioned anything about a resolution to this incredibly disappointing meal. For $85, I would expect at least an edible meal. Do better Outback Mesquite. Very disappointed in you. 0/5 stars…..would...
Read moreThe waiter himself was very good. The food/kitchen and cleanliness was a different story. To start I was brought the wrong appetizer 3 times in a row before getting the correct one. The I had to send it back cause it was completely drenched in oil. That's going to be a theme here with the food, cause I guess the kitchen doesn't know/understand how to fry and drain properly before serving. The main courses were steaks and the bloomin chicken. The chicken tasted fine but yet again the breading was completely drenched and pretty much dissolving off the chicken with any movement. The bottom of the baked potato was so oily that the piece of bread served on the same plate was literal mush from soaking up all of it. Inedible. Then the steaks. Tough chews for $20 each, and they tasted like a burnt pan and forgot the seasoning. The bathroom was disgusting. There was sewage all over the floor, soggy toilet paper everywhere, and NO SOAP. I felt so disgusting I just wanted to get out of this restaurant. This was my first time here and I've heard nothing but good things about Outback so I wanted to try it and was super excited, but Im not sure if ever want to step foot in one again, let alone recommend it to anyone I know. What a...
