Let me start off by saying I have NEVER wrote a review on a restaurant. My husband and I decided to take our two kids to eat at Hooters because we ( me and him) went in on Saturday March 13th and had Bre as a server and had a great experience!! We got there tonight and first was told that our kids couldn’t sit in the bar area... I took that as a misunderstanding, I felt like maybe the littles girl at the host stand thought we meant the bar top. We explained that we meant just the bar area and then she sat us after telling us that there was no server available for the table we wanted and stuck us in the corner. My husband asked to speak to the manager just so that we could find out the rule on kids. Mind you, he has been a security manager in Dallas for multiple bars since 1997. When we were there Saturday there was a child sitting at the bar top and many in the bar area so we wanted to find out what the policy was. Just for reference to check your video- if standing at the hostess stand with shirts behind it for sale this is far left of the bar closet to the front parking. Brian was helpful and explained the hostess was new and he wails speak to her, no big deal. He allowed us to sit at the table of our choice. We actually ended up moving tables one more time because the kids were cold. Everything seemed fine we ordered and life went on. We order wings with a dry rub but ended up getting sauced wings, I told our server no big deal I would keep them. I order a cocktail and the server came back to the table to ask my order again, I politely retold her. She came back and told me they did not have the vodka I requested. I’m flexible and can pick something else, again no big deal. The next thing I ordered I was told them also did not have. The bartender looked, the server looked, and the manger looked. They all agreed, including Brian the manager that they did not have Deep Eddy. I went to the bar and pointed out the bottles. Mind you I had ordered a DeepEddy, water with lemon on the side. Our server bought me a shot. At this point I just wanted to leave. Never asked for anything to be free, everyone makes mistakes. Me and my husband have worked in the industry as our second job for most of our adult life. We are very understanding but this was a complete nightmare. We will...
Read moreI would like to start by saying the first thing I do when I walk into a restaurant is check to see how clean the tables are as well as the floor and as I looked around everything was spotless.
I walked into Hooters and I was greeted with a smile and told I could sit anywhere. The environment was very welcoming.
Our waitress was Denise she was amazing she took the time to give us examples of different sauces to put on our food as well as made suggestions for different items on the menu. Hard to believe but I had never been to Hooters at this point in my life I know what a drag lol. So anyways Denise our waitress was very courteous and attentive to our needs she checked to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything periodically. Just being a fantastic hostess she provided amazing customer service a lot of times you get subpar help depending on the day and the person that is your server. I usually tip in the beginning because it takes away from your server or waitress wondering if you will tip so they provide the service based on that. I forgot to tip in the beginning but Denice proved that if you are ready to provide good customer service no matter if you tip in the beginning or the end she will provide the best customer service possible.
Through out the meal we were greeted by another fantastic person who gave us great customer service she was very polite and actually carried a conversation with us about the restaurant and a little bit of history and how long she was with the company Come to find out she was the manager Ms.Shamila was great as well usually you would think a manager would sit in back and push paper and let the staff do their job without knowing what’s going on but she was right on the front line with her staff greeting people and helping provide the amazing customer service that her employees provided as well I can honestly say that the experience was great the food was great and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. I for sure will be back thank you ladies again for the amazing customer experience food...
Read moreHadn’t been to the Mesquite Hooters in a while was in the mood to celebrate my recent promotion with a good friend. It was this past Sunday daytime and we sat at the bar. The bartender greeted us when we came in and got us our drinks. Even though she was telling others she usually doesn’t work Sundays she had a few regulars. We would try to say excuse me to order food but she would tell us to hang on and then forget all about us. I got tired of waiting and interrupted her while she was carrying on with one of her regulars. She put up her hand 🤚 as to shush me and told me she would be there in a minute. She then finished her conversation and (five minutes later) took our order. I almost paid my bill and walked out when she did that. She’s lucky I was in a good mood. It was obvious her regulars were her priority but definitely not us. Every time I had to ask for something I had to interrupt her because she never asked if we needed anything. We finished eating, and I ordered some celery sticks and 4 bleu cheese to go and a Togo box for my leftover wings. I not only waited 15 mins for it but when it came out they hadn’t put it togo so it sat there and sat there as we sat there and sat there and patiently waited. As our food was sitting there she just sat down behind the bar and conversed with others…we waited and waited and waited until I FINALLY had enough and had to interrupt her again and ask “hey…I got to go…I need you to get that for me please” “oh…I completely forgot….hehehe.” I won’t say I’ll never go back because the food was good, but if I go in and see this girl I’m either getting a table or leaving. I get it…I’m not your regular or someone you know…this is YOUR bar and YOU make all the rules…not management, not the owner but YOU decide wether I get good service or not. I had to apologize to my friend for taking him to such a place. For the amount we spent we could’ve gone somewhere else and got...
