I just left not even a minute ago but I’m urgent to tell y’all my awful experience here with my server. Me and my two friends came in to have a good dinner while studying and exited for the never ending pasta. When we got there our server never introduced herself but got straight to the point of saying what we wanted to drink and just looked not happy to attend us. She came back with the drinks and asked what we wanted to eat, we than said we’re here for the never ending pasta and my friend said she wanted a Toscano soup and the sever replied with “I asked for the pasta” and she gave us all the same soup without asking what we wanted, this wasn’t the worst part yet. She came out with our pastas and we finished them she than came back to ask us if we wanted the receipts not once but TWICE in the matter of seconds when we got there for not ending pasta, I had to tell her we weren’t leaving yet and she left heavy footed. She came back with my refill of water and I had pulled out my computer to get to my notes, she looked at me and didn’t hand me my water but handed it to my friend. She didn’t come back since she was mad leaving and she took 15 minutes NOT exaggerating to check on us again. When she came back she saw all of us on our devices and didn’t say anything but implied the check AGAIN. We just asked for a refill and she replied with “y’all said REFILL “ like if we didn’t speak English. This was very rude and at this point we all felt very uncomfortable and didn’t even want to study. After this she came back with our refill of the pasta and didn’t even ask us if we wanted the same one but brought out the same one mad again, we were so over it and all in all just wanted to leave. We were just there to study and eat but with the server we couldn’t and we all felt uncomfortable. I’ve never had to write a review before in my left but it was that bad she was just so unprofessional and rude me and my friends agreed to write this review and never plan on going back to this location, we also have never left a 0 dollar tip but our server was so rude and never wish this upon anyone. If you plan to visit this location I wish you patience and best of luck with BRANDI W at the mesquite location. I would add a ZERO...
Read moreThis place was very clean, I really wanted to give it a zero star rating, but I gave this restaurant one star. Because the waitress me and my sister had was trash. She brought bread with no butter. Hair on my own bread stick, I didn't tell my sister because she was going to get upset. She then brought 2 drinks with one straw, then when we finally ordered, mind you we get pasta. Now tell me why she brings us spoons to eat our pasta with. Noodles falling all off the spoon and back into the bowl. I told the waitress I wanted sliced sausage in my spaghetti tell me why she brought a whole link in my bowl. And that link was very nasty. I took one bite and wanted a refund for everything. Besides the drink which I did drink. My sister asked for plastic wear and she never got it. Everything else I didn't even eat. Now the environment there was totally different these people were weird we pretty much were the only African American people there and these people gave us the Get out type of vibe. We most definitely felt out of place. One of the waitresses seated an elderly white couple next to us and she hesitated to sit then next to us. Like if it's ok to sit then next to these black monkeys. She side eyed us and them to see their reaction of if they were or wasn't ok with it. Now back to my waitress she was also this couple server too she asked them a lot of times if they are ok and if they need anything. Not once did she ask us this question she kept walking past us. As if we didn't exist knowing my sister asked for plastic forks. At this point my sister and I are ready to go. And I mean ready to go. I usually tip even if you do bad. But this lady did way too bad so she didn't get a dime from either one of us. She took way too long to check us. Like to the point where I was about to just walk out. My overall experience at this place was terrible. And it's sad that we have to go through this. But hey she missed out on a great tip. And hopefully this will help this restaurant out on a...
Read moreWe’re do I start, on Thursday the 4th of December my wife and I were about to enjoy our dinner when my wife out of nowhere fainted as we were eating. I was able to catch her before she hit the table and as she was coming too, we paid our bill and left to the ER. We were at the hospital from Thursday evening to Friday afternoon, when my wife got discharged we went back to pick up my vehicle that was left at Olive Gardens parking lot, once we got there we see that my car got towed for staying over night. This was something we did not need with the long night we had at the hospital, when I called the towing company they told us it was going to be $317 to get my car out of the pound. As I was leaving I said let me see if someone at Olive Garden could help, I called and ask to speak to a manager. Quyen was transferred to my call, I explain all that had happen from the time I was at the restaurant to the time we were discharged from the hospital. He asked if he could put me on a brief hold as he looked into the situation, by that time I’m on my way back to the restaurant to show proof that we just got discharged from hospital. When I walked in I asked for Quyen which he was already waiting for me, he said I just called the towing company and they are going to release the car at no cost, he did not want to see the documents that I had he was more concerned about how my wife was and how she was doing and if he would had known he would of called to follow up on our situation, as I was thanking him he also offered to reimburse our meal since we had no time to even enjoy our meal. Without hesitation he went and got a gift card for us to return. I walked out of that restaurant so impressed that I had to write a review. Please if you are ever in Mesquite and craving pasta please visit The Olive Garden on 635 and Town East, you won’t be disappointed. Thank You Quyen you really made our...
