Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Mesquite

Positives include being open late (I was there around 12:30 AM), friendliness, got my order correct, and short wait time in the drive thru. Negatives include Double Cheese Party Tacos having very little cheese at all, uncharacteristically greasy tacos and burritos, no receipt was given to me (later did the math and I was over charged), the bizarre behavior of the window attendant who asked if he could keep my change, then asked for a dollar tip, and when I said he could not keep my change, he said, “That’s okay, I’ll get my dollar anyways” which I know now means he inflated the price by one party taco to skim off the top. Very disappointed and appalled. Pissed at myself for not making this guy hand me a receipt to my hand instead of driving off assuming he probably put it in the bag. I have not ate here , since 20 years ago.I moved back to Mesquite area in 2021. The Food was OK. I could not belive , the inside of Restaurant, looked just 20 years ago. BUT A FIFTY LOOK TO IT BATHROOM VERY DIRTY , AND IT NEEDS TO BE PAINTED AND FLOORS SCUBBED. THE EATING AREA, SAME LOOK & DECOR. WINDOWS WERE CLEAN . EATING AREA ,HAD A LOOK OF FIFTY ALL AROUND WALLS ,FLOOR,CORNERS . I COULD NOT FINISH MY FOOD. GOT THINKING, IF BATHROOM & EATING AREA , LOOKS BAD. WHO KNOWS , HOW THE KITCHEN AREA LOOKS.. I walked in and no one greeted me. Stood at the register and after a bit she walked over and started touching the screen. I started telling her my order, she put her hand up and said “hold on”……. Mind you she hasn’t said anything other than that. Then just walks away. Leaves me standing there as she walks away and has a conversation with another guy. Then he comes over and taps the screen…….
