Virgin River Cafe — Restaurant in Mesquite

where do I begin, I came in today to have lunch with my family. Staff was nice up till we got to our table. Cindy our server was rude. She came to get our order she was irritated and rude. after she took our orders they sat down an older gentlemen (senior citizen),the man simply asked her what would she recommend for him to try. She replied "I don't know look at the menu." That's when it went down hill from there , to serving his food to bringing his check. My family at that point wanted to leave immediately due to how much disrespect we seen go down right in front of us. We grabbed boxes from the front , packed our food and went to the front to ask for a supervisor . Supervisor Gina came to hear our complaint and acted as if we are wasting her time and didn't seem very interested in what we had to say. She told us we couldn't complain for another customer and they are under new management so training is going to improve. We told her the server made the whole experience uncomfortable and disgusting how they treat senior citizens. I understand if the man was nasty to her or even disrespectful , I believe in giving back to what you receive. Besides the delicious food the only other saving grace was the gentleman upfront Eliko. He made sure we had everything we needed to even updating us every few minutes about where the supervisor was on her ETA. He talked to us the whole time we waited and didn't make us feel uncomfortable about making a complaint. The food we definitely recommend but after this experience dining in would not be ideal. Service sucked. I ordered my eggs "over medium" typically I am very tolerant and i do not want to cause any more work than needed. However my eggs were closer to sunny side up. I asked my server if I could get new eggs and he proceeded to tell me that is what I ordered and that the yolk is supposed to be runny. I politely said that the white wasn't supposed to be runny as well and he said they weren't. I showed him my plate that had clear egg all over. He said he would "look into it" and took my plate. He then came back to the table with new eggs and asked me to check them. I let him know they were much better and thanked him.

Here is the kicker! Instead of ending it there he told me that I need to order medium well eggs.. all I wanted was my whites cooked, even slightly runny I will be fine, but I didn't want my whites clear.. I've never heard of medium well eggs and I have NEVER had a problem like this before. Definitely blew my mind that he wanted to argue instead of just getting...

I've been to the Virgin River Cafe several times. My first two times were actually pretty good and the servers were also good, but the last few times that I've gone it has been absolutely horrible and disgusting. The second to last time I went, my girlfriend and I was sitting in a booth and she got bed bug bites all over her body, so many we had to go to the security office to let them know about it. Then tonight we go back because there's nothing else in Mesquite to really eat after midnight. They're little busy not too bad and we go over and ask if we can have a table and they're like well we have one table open but it needs to be cleaned and it might take a little bit since we don't have a busser and only one server. (On a holiday weekend). She was the cashier but I thought they were all about being team players in the casino industry (wondering why she didn't just clean the table). After waiting a few minutes we said forget it and left. Now we're just going to deal with not...
