I live right down the street, and they lost a customer today. Extremely rude. Wish I could give zero stars. Ordered a cortadito and colada for pickup, expected it when I arrived at the estimated time. Was not ready, order just sitting on the counter. They completed 2 orders before I finally was able to say “hi I am here for pickup.” I was in my work uniform, clearly in a rush. They then proceeded to complete the NEXT person in lines’ coffee order BEFORE mine. When I said in Spanish “excuse me, miss where is my order? I’ve been here for 15 minutes?” She said it’s coming, rudely. Then, she purposefully didn’t seal the lid because I guess she didn’t like that I called her out, and the coffee spilled everywhere, including on my work shirt.
As a Cuban, I can tell you Their food and coffee was already mediocre at best. You’re better off going to a real authentic Cuban place like Playa Cafe. Or even Starbucks is better than this trash. Literally anywhere else. And I sincerely hope their manager takes a look at who was working 2/16 evening because they’re AWFUL. I’ll make sure, everyone stays away from this place just because of how rudely they treated a fellow Lincoln road employee. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
It also looks like they have spammed their reviews with a bunch of fake “local guides” no real local would drink or eat this sludge. Btw, their Cuban bread is...

Read moreI wanted to love this place but unfortunately I didn’t. I ordered two cafe con leches and they were the most expensive cafe con leches I’ve ever bought in my life. There is no actual small size. Only large and XL. I didn’t make that big a deal about the price because I thought I’d get a delicious traditional Cafe con leche. I did not. It was more like a watered down latte. The nice lady at the counter assured me it’s pricey because they use the best and most expensive coffee. Either she made it extremely weak or this isn’t as good or expensive as she thinks. We also ordered a tostada and chicken empanada. They tasted good however the tostada is not your traditional tostada. It was flat, like a 1/4” thickness and overly toasted. I understand things change and places want to stand out and do things differently however, sometimes people just want the traditional Cuban treats. If you name it the traditional name, we think we’re getting the traditional food item. Overall the tostada was ok and the empanada was good but the taste of the coffee was the most egregious offense of it all and I actually threw it...
