Miami’s vibrant food scene never disappoints, and our latest culinary adventure took us straight to the heart of it all at Lobster Shack. If you’re a seafood lover like us, get ready to drool because this spot is an absolute gem!
From the moment we walked in, the cozy, laid-back vibe of Lobster Shack had us feeling right at home. The casual, beachy decor perfectly set the scene for what we knew would be a mouthwatering meal. The smell of fresh seafood wafting through the air had our taste buds tingling with anticipation!
We kicked things off with their famous Lobster Bisque. Creamy, rich, and packed with chunks of tender lobster, it was the perfect start to our seafood feast. One spoonful, and we were hooked!
Next up, the main event: their legendary Lobster Roll. Let me tell you, it was everything we dreamed of and more. Generously stuffed with fresh, succulent lobster meat, lightly dressed in just the right amount of mayo, and served on a buttery, toasted roll—it was the kind of sandwich you think about long after the last bite. Pure bliss!
But the goodness didn’t stop there. We couldn’t resist trying their Crab Cakes and Grilled Shrimp, both of which were out of this world. The Crab Cakes were golden, crispy, and filled with sweet, flaky crab, while the shrimp were grilled to perfection with a smoky, charred flavor that was simply irresistible.
Of course, no visit to Lobster Shack is complete without a side of their famous Truffle Parmesan Fries. Crispy, golden fries topped with a heavenly blend of truffle oil and parmesan cheese—talk about the ultimate indulgence!
To wash it all down, we sipped on their refreshing Key Lime Pie Martini, a fun twist on the classic dessert. It was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, a true taste of Miami in a glass!
By the end of our meal, we were absolutely stuffed, but oh-so-happy. Lobster Shack delivered an unforgettable dining experience, and we can’t wait to go back. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Miami, this spot is a must-try for any seafood lover. Trust us, you won’t be...
Read moreNote: I was Covid positive when a patron. Wore mask inside, sat at THE loneliest table by trash bag piles where NO ONE ELSE WAS.
I, as a decent human in 2022, warned other guests while sitting OUTSIDE at literally the loneliest table with only one other table within 6 feet of my seat, that I was positive, while a TON of other tables were open. Literally 10+ other open tables.
Manager/owner service: 0/5 he comes out. After I’ve been here for 30+ minutes, spent over $60 alone and VERY confrontationally— Him: you know this is a public restaurant, and customers can sit wherever they please. You can’t tell them to move just cause you want to sit alone! Me: I completely get that, and I don’t. I have COVID and sat outside at the furthest spot, and am being a decent human by letting them know. They can make their own decisions to move, but there’s a ton of open tables, so I figured I’d share the info. Him: oh, so you thought you should come out with Covid cause you’re so decent? Me: no one in your entire establishment is wearing masks and THEY could be asymptomatic. Yeah, I was decent and sat as secluded as possible AND informed them. Even though I don’t look sick/exhibit symptoms. Him: great, don’t tell my patrons where to sit. It’s a public restaurant Me: I’m not. But unlike you, I will be honest when there’s a million other spots to sit that this ONE seat is a risky one. Him: walks away
Table service: 5 stars - this guy was WORKING. The entire time I was here, he was bringing food, cleaning tables, etc.
Counter service: 5 stars. The girls were so nice and helpful!
Food: got the king crab roll and drool 🤤 BUT the left the cartilage or whatever in the crab. In one roll I pulled out 3, and questionably ate 1. Lol food was great though, still wouldn’t complain.
Pitcher of beer: 5 full pints for $25 and, again, the girls were so sweet/helpful. I’m from the Midwest, and was entirely unfamiliar with the beers on tap. Bartended asked my tastes and made recommendations, then let me taste before being stuck with a...
Read moreStopped in Miami for the day and not sure where to go. Collectively we decided on Lobster Shack.
The seating for six indoors was not available. We decided to be seated together outside.
Never expected what occurred after. We had our server Chico introduce himself. Help us with our options. He went into great lengths to help us understand what the dishes we were interested in contained and decide based on on our wants what items on the menu would fill that craving.
We started with the crab dip which he said was EXTREMELY popular. Since there was 6 of us he suggested we order extra bread. We were not disappointed except when we finished it. We wanted MORE! We did order a second order.
Next everyone ordered Cajun roll with lobster bisque, shrimp and catfish, shrimp and lobster and lobster roll with fries. Everything tasted so delicious and fresh. The fried food has the right crisp and taste. I am only disappointed that when I leave I won’t get to have it back home. Please venture out to the Inland Empire in California!
Not only was the food delicious, but our server Chico went above and beyond. We took so long deciding what to get he didn’t rush us but rather sat next to us and helped us decide. It felt like we were with family he was so personable and genuine and we related to him instantly.
We also ordered some drinks like the piña colada, which he asked if we would prefer a Miami vice. Everyone jumped on the drink when we found out it was a piña collada swirled with a strawberry daiquiri and fell in love. We also ordered a few mojitos and some rum punch. Not gonna lie this is the only restaurant we got to try in Miami and honestly it was so amazing and memorable that I am excited that we selected the perfect restaurant.
I think I was extremely surprised that they weren’t busier. The food, Cajun sauce and service is next level.
Please come by and see Chico and see for yourself. They really have something special here and It would be a disservice to not make you aware of what you...
