Whoever is running this place really has no business either managing or owning a restaurant. I should have known as soon as I unwrapped the paper napkin and there was a plastic fork and knife inside. We usually eat at Prime Italian or a couple other places we are familiar with. It was our last night and the kids wanted to go trick or treating on Lincoln road. In short, all four appetizers were things I have been served in pub-like fast food restaurants. Without a doubt all previously frozen and fried. Calamari completely inedible. We ordered 4 chicken parm dinners and I personally broke 3 plastic forks trying to cut this roof shingle with sauce on it. The fettuccine Alfredo my son ordered was literally horrible. I never leave reviews. I just pay my tab and feel sorry for the poor idiot that thinks his food is good. My main question is how in the world a restaurant owner could have the balls to sign a lease on Lincoln Road and send that previously frozen garbage out from the kitchen. I’ve seen good restaurants fail in that area. Never mind the total incompetence that was displayed last night. The young server clearly knew something was wrong because there was so much food remaining on all of our plates. Some manager looking dude slid by and said “everything ok”. Yes is all I could muster. I'm a local for 15 years here in miami beach. I also work in hotels and restaurants. I have to tell you something. The food was solid. The one thing that will keep me coming to this place is 1 person. I think her name is youssy. She was the server. She was attentive, kind, smiling all the time and made amazing recommendations. She was great when we got there and she was even more gracious when we were leaving. She invited us to come back and gave us a warm farewell. The food.... pizza good. Neopolitan style. No crunch but sooooo tasty. I'm from Brooklyn. The pasta. Wow. No need for the truffles. Just eat the great flavor. There was one bad point. A sweaty manager that was lurking around.
