First of all I'm extremely considerate of the service industry, and have never written a review such as this one.
The day started off great, my eldest graduated from middle school. So he and some friends wanted to go to Outback because to many people were going to Chilli's.
We were the first family to arrive, the hostess told us it would be a 20 to 30 wait for our party of 7, and gave me a buzzer. A few minutes later we added some people and made it a group of 20. They said it will be about 45 minutes. An hour later I asked how long did we have to wait because my small children were hungry, sleepy, and anxious.
They soon started seating the children, and some adults. 20 minutes after I asked the hostess what was taking so long, people had apparently added themselves to my group because they arrived later then me and were sitting with the kids. She said she didn't know, that I should speak with the manager at the front. I asked the manager at the front the same question. She called the restaurant manager. Even more frustrated its 9:10pm , and I had arrived st 7:30 pm. I asked the manager in charge. He smiles and replies the table has been set for awhile. I said no it hasn't. I was the one who sit the reservation, I have the buzzer, and it hasn't even buzzed , and no one has bothered to call my name. I've actually have asked multiple times, and I was told to wait longer.
He smiled and said, come this way. He basically disregarded everything I said, as if he didn't care. This was suppose to be a memorable evening. It was in a very bad way. By this time my youngest child was extremely hungry and wanted to go home. I had to leave the restaurant with 2 of my children, and left my wife with the oldest. I was extremely dissapointed with the lack of communication , and compassion of the manager. HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!!!!!
My kids and I ended the night frustrated and hungry. We will not...
Read moreIm going to start by saying that me and my wife and daughters are big fans of Outback and have never experienced horrible service from a until we came to this one while here on vacation from Central Florida. The waitress who served us on 03/08/19 was a African American or Haitian female short in statue with very long braids hanging down her back with glass on unfortunately she didn't give us her name but anyways, she was very rude from beginning to end and it all started when my daughters asked for extra bread in which she pretended not to hear them and when she brought it back to the table she sat it on the edge of the table and walked off as if she was mad about it . Secondly, when she brought my steak out I asked for A1 Sauce and she looked at me as I committed a sin and later came back with it but continued acted as if we were a bother to her. Lastly prior to departure my Daughter's asked for to go boxes in which she brought to them and rudely sat them on the edge of the table and walked of and I had to grab them to stop them from falling to the floor . I am a full-time law Enforcement officer and my wife is a well known family practitioner in central Florida and we believe in treating people accordingly never mistreating any because or race etc. I will end by saying that we have always left $50.00 tips to worthy waitresses/waiters but she didnt deserve 1 cent do to her terrible attitude along with that I dont give many reviews but this was the worst experience me and my family have ever experienced at one of our favorite restaurants .I will still say the food was great as usual . My Teenage Daughters couldnt believe what they witnessed tonight and Just to let you all know that we are African American ourselves. Management really do need to call her in and counsel with her I wouldn't want a waitress like this ruin business 🙄😏😡😠

Read moreThe food was terrible, the customer service was subpar and both the outside and inside of the restaurant was badly designed and ugly. I also have to say that the food was so bad that none of my guest (I went with) enjoyed their meal. This was my first visit to outback steakhouse Australia, I originally wanted to go to an expensive steakhouse but was recommended to go the cheaper route for this outing on such short noticed due to transportation.
We all ordered the same meal with slightly different sides. My order was the biggest because I like keeping an open mind when I go out, especially to eat. My steak was medium with lobster, mac and cheese, ribs and french onion soup. I also ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer and the cream cake..... Let's just say the best food on my plate was the ribs.... I ordered a california wine which was disgustingly ill fitting for my tast buds.
I also ordered a martini, I can honestly say that my ribs and martini should have been the only food I ordered because everything else was a disaster. Spend the money to go to a real steakhouse and not some Chilli's wannabe steakhouse with lackluster decor, slow service and food that would have better been eaten with no tongue, teeth or mouth. I do...
