After noticing the contact number on my order was incorrect, I contacted my local store #377, and was met with complete disregard from Michael Lee who apparently is the manager at this store. I let him know that driver had just left my building and he would’ve been unable to reach me because the phone number was incorrect. Michael said he would call the driver and hung up before I was able to give him the gate access code to my building after telling him the driver could not contact me. I called back several times and was “disconnected” every time, when I asked if the driver was called I was told “I can’t do that if you call back every two minutes”. I asked if the driver could just give me a call and gave the manager the correct number. When the driver called me I explained what happened and that I saw him before from my window before he drove away and I tried to get his attention but it was too late so I called the store instead. The drivers response “Alberto Leon” was rude and ill mannered. He said “If you saw me from your window why didn’t you just come down man”. We are experiencing a pandemic and my delivery was supposed to be contactless, instead the driver was extremely rude and hung up and refused to answer when I called back to confirm it would even be receiving my order. Once he chose to answer his response was, “start walking down because I’m almost there”. Again, a contactless delivery was not respected AT ALL and the driver was not wearing a face mask. The service received from this store has cemented the fact that my business is clearly not appreciated and in fact has been the worst experience I have ever had with any delivery service. As a former papa John’s employee, I am appalled by this service and the treatment of a client from both the manager and the driver. I called and cancelled the order to avoid further arguments and was told “ok you’ll get your money back in 3 days”, no confirmation no reassurance. We are living during unprecedented times and if a client is doing their best to make your job as easy as possible and avoid contact for everyone’s safety, they should be met with nothing but minimal respect...
Read moreBeen ordering from this Papa John’s practically my whole life. Today I ordered from the app and it forces me into door dash delivery AFTER I had placed the order. The door dash driver went all over the place before showing up with my order almost an hr later. He sent me a message saying “sorry running late. I had two other orders before you. On my way.” I then watched his car drive to PSN on the map(not the direction of my house) and then I watched him drive west of Papa Johns to a neighborhood near i75 (again not near my house)… then he went back to the Papa John’s plaza! Into Winn Dixie to handle some other order he had messed up or had been changed (which he explained to me in person because I called him out on it when he delivered my pizza). I tried calling the driver but he would only text. I then called Papa Johns who basically said it was a door dash problem. I didn’t order from door dash! I ordered from papa johns! So it is, in fact, a papa johns problem. If I had been given the choice I would have paid the direct delivery fee that most services like door dash and ubereats offer. My pizza finally arrived room temp an hr after initial delivery time. Papa johns offered to cxl my order or make me a new one on the house. But at the end of the day if every time I order a pizza it’s going to arrive an hr after delivery estimate, why would I bother? I live 8 minutes from there.
I guess, unless I’m picking up my order, I won’t be ordering delivery from Papa John’s anymore. At least dominoes still has delivery drivers.
I don’t want you to give me a free pizza in this instance because this isn’t a one off. There’s no option for direct delivery on the app. Free pizza isn’t going to fix that. Fix this decision and bring your delivery drivers back. Because the reality is if I have to pay more for direct delivery then you can just up your delivery fee and pay your...
Read moreCalled in on Christmas Eve at around 8:00 pm, the female representative who answered, stated that orders were still being accepted for delivery up until 10:00 pm. I provided my address, she then said they did not deliver there. I then asked if I could drive to the location and wait outside and was hung up on. I called back and now the person who picked up the phone seemed to only speak in Spanish, thankfully I am bilingual, and I repeated myself again, to only hear him say that he did not drive to my location, which was not what I was asking. And why was one of the drivers taking over the call in the first place? I politely asked if I could drive to the location and wait outside and he again said no. I asked him what I could do and he gave me no options. I finally asked if he knew any address nearby to where they were located so that I could use that instead, he again said no. In hindsight, I wish I would have said the address next door, but I’m sure he would have denied it too. He even went as far as saying that it was Christmas and that they deserved to go home to their families in a sarcastic way. How is this my fault? Go take that up with your manager, the owner, papa johns corporate, or find a new job that better fits your needs! This guy is the epítome of a rude, disrespectful, and lazy narcissist. I understand that everyone should be given the time to spend with their families on the holidays, but if the establishment is affirming to be open for service, albeit, takeout only, then at least have the decency, respect and work ethic to follow through on what your papa johns branch is claiming to do. He made every excuse you could imagine to deny service. I wonder how the owner must feel knowing that these entitled employees are costing them money. I wouldn’t set foot in this papa johns location, and judging from all the other reviews, there seems...
