While a guest at the Embassy Suites in Miami, I went to have dinner at Grill 305, on January 11, 2024. I have to say (and really alert you), it was the worst (and yes, humiliating) experience I have ever seen at any restaurant in my life! (By the way, I’ve travelled most of the world, and very flexible and courteous by nature.) first of all, they leave people waiting to be seated and ignored without anyone acknowledging them! Then when any waiter (who all see super stressed and running mad) finally notices you, then, from distance, they’ll kind of waive you to “just find a table,” in an agitated fashion! Then you just sit there for a while and be lucky if / when finally noticed and attended! In my case, the nearest table I could find wasn’t clean. It took me a while finding anyone to ask if I could sit there. Again, when finally acknowledged, I was told (again on rushed and agitated fashion) yes, and “it will get cleaned and prepared.” So I sit a while, not even noticed till finally, I saw a waiter and asked if I could order (luckily I found a menus left on the uncleaned table from previous customers.) He took my order (I just order their hamburger,) and you guessed it; I sat there, unnoticed and with uncleaned table for over 30 minutes.) while waiting patiently, after about 15 minutes, I noticed and was surprised the person, who cleans the tables, proceeded to clean the tables with no customers, right next to me. So, I thought that he didn’t know he needed to do my table, as well. So I politely and very quietly asked him if he could attend to my table, thinking my hamburger would be almost ready to serve. He literally came charging at me, with a loud and intimidating voice, with heavy accent, telling me that I shouldn’t have sat there. When I tried to explain to him (which normally a customer doesn’t have to explain him or herself) that the waiter had told me to sit there and that someone will come and do the table, he got louder and angrier. I was very embarrassed and intimidated! Thankfully , he then turned away and walked abruptly. I then found my waiter and told him what happened and that I needed to see a manager, he said sorry and a manager will come to talk to me. You guessed it; no manager, no food, for another 15 minutes. Immediately after I had told the waiter, the large and angry worker came out from another door towards my table and started doing it unhappily. So I decided to cool things off, and told him, “thank you, I appreciate it.” Surprisingly, he started telling me how wrong I was and how I should behave!! At that point, I told him to please call the waiter and that I don’t need his service anymore. He, very angrily, and loudly expressed to me how he didn’t care! At that point, and after more that 30 minutes of this horrible treatment to me (and other customers, as I sat there noticing in absolute disbelief,) I totally lost my appetite, left the restaurant, and grabbed a delicious subway tuna sandwich :) I am actually still...
Read moreLets start with the poorest customer service ever recieved by any hotel I ever visit in my life. From check in to check out. We waited 2 hours for our room to be ready and still never got the room we paid for. I paid for a room that came with complimentary snacks and they said that room wasnt ready and placed me in another room and promised someone would come up with the snacks. After 1 hour no one came spoke to the superviosr who was so rude and practically just dismissed me like I was trash. She then proceeded to tell me in 20 minutes someone will come with your snacks. I asked her for water she said you have to pay for it never even offered it due to the difficulties caused by them. 2 hours later still no snacks I had to just cancel the snacks and have them charge back my card $25.00.
The bagage guy didnt want to give me the lugage carrier stating no one brings it back and Stated I better bring it back to where I found it. The bar area was covered with trash all over the counters with at least 22 guest waiting on their rooms although arriving at 4pm. The bathrooms had urine on the seats and floors in every stall. When I tell you this was the worse hotel Ive ever stayed at.
Ive never left a complaint on google ever however, I had to for this hotel absolutely poor customer service...
Read moreEXTREMELY overpriced for what you get. If you have any means of going elsewhere, you should. I couldn't, because all the roads were shut down because of some kind of crazy police chase, so this was it. The ambiance is nice, and the food isn't as bad as what someone else's picture made it look like, see attached. That said, the salmon came out very undercooked - not sure if that's a serious problem or not, but when my gf sent it back, they just threw it in the microwave to the point it was destroyed and brought it back out, which is not what any self respecting restaurant should do. Service was glacially slow despite the restaurant being very quiet, we almost walked out without paying, since we waited 45mins after finishing eating to wait...
