Stay away from this dishonest and awful restaurant!!! Ordered carry out, the pork was FROZEN and the bill was twice as menu stated! When questioned why pork was frozen, the waitress said we didn’t know you want warm food. When asked why the price was twice as menu, the waitress said the owner said meat is more expensive. Save yourself an ER visit, don’t go there!
*Lie 1 from the restaurant: I had to wait for almost an hour after finding I received frozen pork buns to request to cook these pork buns. They put in a plastic bag not in a container!! So gross!! I spent $105 to get frozen food from a restaurant?! This is my 5th time to get pork buns. The first 3 times were ok. Last time the owner said someone didn’t show up for their order, so I was willing to get the uncooked pork buns because they sold me someone else order. I thought I was doing the restaurant a favor. This time was a brand new order. If I need frozen food, I can buy from grocery store not from a restaurant. Now I wonder why last time another customer didn’t show up getting their order?! Because double the price after placing the order?
*Lie 2 from the restaurant: When I placed the order with the owner, she didn’t mention the price increase. It was notified afterward
*Lie 3: I didn’t realize I need to tell the restaurant I want warm and hot food when I placed an order. Isn’t it a common sense? If I need frozen uncooked food, why I go to restaurant buying $105 frozen pork buns??
please stop calling my cell phone with New York City number and yelled at me in Chinese. I will report you to the cop if happen again.
*what an unethical business. What a big disappointment for a brand new restaurant to treat their customers like this. I have spending over $1,500 at this restaurant since they open within few months but in return, I received uncooked food I ordered. Whoever only went there once and feel they aren’t bad. I was one of you. See what I got in return?! This is not how American does business!!!! That’s how they treat their big spending money customer!! Stay away from this restaurant! I will only support American restaurants...
Read moreDo you like the cost of a nice sit-down restraunt with the quality of a chinese takeout? We actually waited very eagerly for this place to open, which seemingly was delayed for some time because of obvious reasons. We finally noticed it opened the other day and excitedly came. The place wasn't busy, we got seated at a table and ... Nothing.
Probably should have looked at their prices before we sat down. Everything is overpriced. The meals don't come with descriptions, and they aren't set up for ordering there. The menu is a takeout menu... Except everything is $2-$4 more than what you'd see in that menu. They do 20 oz bottles instead of fountain drinks, and offer no options for children. When I ordered water, they gave me bad tasting tap. I guess a $10 water filter is too much for them.
The restaurant sort of looks nice, but doesn't reach date night nice. It's one of those places where the longer you look, the cheaper it is.
After the waitress ignored us for 20 minutes when there were only 2 other families in the restaurant (they're take out, I guess that comes first over visitor), which by the way, their ugly take out stuff is visible from the main dining area, real classy...
I eventually decided to leave and just pay for the drinks. The hostess wanted to grill me on why I wanted to leave... And then couldn't seem to check me out. After waiting for her another 5 minutes acting completely respectful, she just couldn't figure out how to ring up my bill. This was because she couldn't find my waitress who had abandoned us for the previous 20 minutes. I eventually just slapped $5 down and walked out.
I've rarely had experiences so unpleasant. They get 2 star and not 1 because I admit I didn't give them a chance, and for all I know their food is amazing. Personally, if I'm going to spend $50 for nice asian dining, I'll just go Tokyo Grill down the street that is...
Read moreFolks, run (don’t walk) to get some delicious Cantonese style food! This place serves traditional Hong Kong style food in generous portions for the price, and even some Americanized Chinese food as well for those of you that are less adventurous. I mean, they even have fresh fish swimming in tanks here! Extensive menu. Staff were willing to explain anything we had questions about. Portion sizes here were probably 1.5 meals per main dish.
There were not many people here as it is currently in its soft opening + COVID, so we chose to dine in, and felt pretty comfortable with that. They provide hand sanitizer at the door, and seat you away from other guests. All employees wore masks, and most of the waitresses wore gloves as well when serving food. We knew our waitress from another Chinese restaurant in the area, and she took very good care of us.
Food. Is. Delicious. My husband’s family hails from Hong Kong, and we have been dying for a taste of momma Sun’s cookin as we haven’t had a chance to this year. This place is spot on. I got the beef brisket wonton egg noodle soup, beef was succulent, wontons and noodles cooked to perfection, and that marbling of the meet and fat made a brilliant broth. My husband got the clay pot with grouper. Boy was it delicious. Fish wasn’t fishy, perfect texture. Sizzling in our clay pot. Mmmm. Also got some stir fried choy sum (gai lan), since it’s hard to come by good fresh stuff up here. Even the jasmine tea is delightful, and it is imported from China.
This will be a regular place for us!...
