I’m in town from Vegas and wanted some tacos… came here the first hour in… I tell the waiter what I want and I let him know right then that I do not want anything on the rim! My drink come back with salt on the inside and outside of the rim… he tell me that he told her no salt be she make a BIGGGGGGG EMBARRASSING deal because I didn’t want it. You know whyyyy… I watch her make take a napkin wipe the inside and out while taking smack at the same time… AS IF IM IN THE WRONG!!!! The bartender who work today 08/02/2025 @ 1:30pm with the curly hair she is VERY RUDE!!!!! I watch her tell all 3 waitress who working she even went to two chef and had one with the white hat on come from the stove to the bar stand where she was to see who see was talking about!!!!! I watch her talk about me to ALL 3 Waitresses AS IF IM WRONGGGGGG!!!! As I stated when I place my order I order a margarita Cadillac with NOTHING ON THE RIM!!! My waitress even showed me where he ask her to put no salt and she still took it upon herself. To have someone like this who talk junk the entire time and make the customer feel u wanted tells a lot. When I ask to speak with the manager after I watch her 20 minutes talk junk towards me i was told no one was there who I can speak with and they would take the drink off my tab… it was not about taking the drink off it was about the ENITRE TIME she literally talk junk and had some to sayto every employee because I said no salt… Only if they can play the camera back. I will NEVER EVER BE BACK!!! She make the company look bad. My thing is I explained to the waiter what I want so why take your anger on me because you didn’t read toast ticket and had to do a re make. The the waiters and chef didn’t make It any better because every time she said something about me to them they will look my way and stare!!!! I’m paying customer but you won’t get another buck… DO BETTER!!! As a bartender you are people friendly. Yall are a team work together and respect the...
Read morerecently visited for a birthday celebration on a Sunday night, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what we had hoped for. The restaurant was quite empty, with our group being the only large party present. Right from the start, we noticed it was uncomfortably hot inside — there appeared to be no functioning fans or AC.
Given that we were celebrating a special occasion, I believe it would have been appropriate for the staff to inform us about the AC issues beforehand. It's frustrating to hear that they've been aware of this problem for months, particularly when it negatively impacts the comfort of their guests.
Additionally, our dining experience was marred by poor service. We had to repeatedly ask for basic items like water, utensils, and plates. Our food also took an unacceptably long time to arrive, and when it did, it was cold and incorrect on three separate occasions.
After two hours of this, we finally requested to speak with the owner. Instead of offering a sincere apology or any kind of compensation, he made excuses about the heat being caused by the sun —even though it was nighttime—and failed to acknowledge the issues with our food.
To top it all off, an 18% gratuity was automatically included in our bill, despite the subpar service we received. We spent over $1,000 among our party, and it was not worth it at all. When It was time to pay….. I gave cash & I was shorted on change, and at that point, I was so frustrated and hot that I just wanted to leave and let them keep it.
Overall, I cannot recommend. It was an awful experience, and we all expected so much more, especially for a special occasion...
Read morePopped into Benito Juárez Miami earlier today after riding the Brightline and, honestly, I’m still thinking about those tacos hours later. Quick hit list of what we ordered:
Tableside guac w/ steak – they mash it right next to the table, then pile on smoky steak bites. Could’ve demolished a second bowl. Queso fundido con chorizo – molten cheese + spicy sausage = pure joy. Pro tip: eat it fast before it sets. Al Pastor tacos – my absolute favorite. Perfect balance of sweet pineapple and savory juicy pork. Steak tacos – simple, juicy, classic. Sampler Juárez – flautas, mini-quesadillas, all the fun fried things in one basket. Mint lemonade – super refreshing between spicy bites. Atmosphere: Bright murals, warm lighting, and the whole place has cute little details like hats and chili peppers hanging from the ceiling, vacation style furniture / booths, and bar seating as well. There’s a DJ-style playlist going, but the volume is perfect where you can still catch up with friends without yelling. Loved it.
Service: Fast, friendly, and they nailed the pacing…food came out hot and in waves, not all at once. Our server even gave us extra tortillas when he saw us scraping the queso bowl.
Bottom line: If you’re anywhere downtown and craving legit tacos (get the al pastor, trust me) plus a laid-back vibe, make this your next stop. I’m already plotting my return for a full queso-and-taco...
