I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lira Beirut Eatery, a Lebanese restaurant nestled in the heart of Miami. My experience was nothing short of amazing, from the warm ambiance to the outstanding service and, most importantly, the delectable food.
The Food Lira Beirut Eatery offers an authentic Lebanese culinary experience. Here's a rundown of the dishes I tried:
Tabbouleh: The tabbouleh was a refreshing start to the meal. Made with finely chopped parsley, tomatoes, mint, onion, and a light, tangy dressing of lemon juice and olive oil, it was vibrant and fresh. The balance of flavors and textures was perfect, making it one of the best tabbouleh salads I've ever had.
Hummus: The hummus at Lira Beirut Eatery is a must-try. Smooth, creamy, and rich in flavor, it was served with warm, freshly baked pita bread. The hint of garlic and lemon juice elevated the dish, making it a delightful dip or spread.
Fattoush: The fattoush salad was a standout. Crisp romaine lettuce, juicy tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, and onions were tossed with fried pieces of pita bread, creating a delightful crunch. The sumac dressing added a tangy, slightly tart flavor that tied the whole dish together beautifully.
Chicken with Garlic: The chicken with garlic was simply divine. Tender, juicy pieces of chicken were marinated to perfection and cooked with a generous amount of garlic, infusing the meat with a robust, savory flavor. The garlic was present but not overwhelming, allowing the natural taste of the chicken to shine through.
Ambiance and Service The ambiance at Lira Beirut Eatery is warm and inviting, with a cozy interior that makes you feel right at home. The décor reflects Lebanese culture, with beautiful touches that enhance the dining experience.
The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring that all our needs were met promptly.
Conclusion Lira Beirut Eatery is a gem in Miami's culinary scene. Whether you're a fan of Lebanese cuisine or looking to try something new, this restaurant will not disappoint. From the fresh and flavorful tabbouleh to the succulent chicken with garlic, every dish is crafted with care and authenticity. I highly recommend Lira Beirut Eatery for a memorable...
Read moreI recently visited Lira Lebanese restaurant in Wynwood, and while the experience was largely positive, there were some notable drawbacks that affected the overall dining experience.
Let’s start with the good: the seasoning and flavors were truly outstanding. The food was a beautiful representation of authentic Lebanese cuisine, with each dish bursting with rich and well-balanced flavors. It was clear that a lot of care went into the preparation of the meals. The service was also commendable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to make our dining experience enjoyable.
However, there were a few issues that stood out. First, the prices were quite high, especially considering the portion sizes. The portions were notably small, which was disappointing given the cost. This was particularly problematic for the mezza dishes, as not only were the portions small, but the bowls they were served in were also quite tiny and difficult to manage. This made it hard to share or serve without spilling, which detracted from the enjoyment of the meal.
One aspect that really bothered me was the charge for water. We were asked if we wanted water and assumed it would be complimentary, as is usually the case in most restaurants. To our surprise, we were charged $8 per bottle, for what appeared to be tap water served in a regular jar. There was no indication that the water was filtered or special in any way. This felt like an unnecessary and excessive charge for something as basic as water, especially when we ended up with two jars, assuming it was part of the meal.
In summary, while the flavors and service were great, the high prices, small portions, and the unexpected water charge left a bit of a sour taste. If you’re craving authentic Lebanese food and don’t mind smaller portions, it’s worth a visit. Just be aware of the...

Lira Beirut eatery is authentic and legit and is precisely what you would expect to find if you were very lucky in Beirut. It presents a happy, warm, comfortable and unpretentious environment, but what really elevates this place are its people. Hospitality and generosity are quintessential aspects of the Middle Eastern culture, and Lira does an exceptional job capturing those characteristics. It would appear the staff was hired based on great spirit and attitude and management then provided the technical training and is clearly "walking the walk".
The menu once again is what you would expect in a Beirut restaurant with hot and cold Mezze and a range of delightful mains and sides. We wanted to experience the menu and truth be told we ordered too much, however, it allowed us to sample a wide range and without exception every dish was outstanding and it is very clear that "Chef" really knows how to bring out the flavors and eating here you truly understand why Lebanese food has such great reputation. Congratulations!
Lira is not a cheap eat, however, you will leave feeling that you received outstanding value for money.
All in all Lira Beirut eatery is a home run and my wife and I can't wait to go back in the very near future.
PS: We had no problem finding street...
