Savage Labs Wynwood — Restaurant in Miami

Savage went from being my favorite spot to pre-game and have fun to a place where I will never set foot again, all in 5 minutes. I am an avid house music lover and I like to dance all the time, because it makes me happy and allows me to give a good time to everybody around me. For that reason, I have been a regular there for a few months, recommending it to all my friends, etc. One night, the owner approaches me and my friend and proceeds to explain to me that I am not able to read the situation and I cannot dance like that when people are trying to dine. At 10.30 pm dude, seriously? With house music blasting and the DJ and me both with hands up in sync with each other, with the dance floor just getting started? Needless to say, I immediately left, because the only thing I can read, after 30 years of nightlife (yes, dude, 30, in 3 different continents) is that this spot is joining the movement of wannabe fancy lounges that are just pretentious and are gonna lose badly. Good luck with that, but people, never EVER allow anybody to treat you like that. Forgot to say, now there is a 40 bucks cover. If they tell you that there was always a cover, it is a straight up LIE. On a positive note, thank you Aly at the bar, we had an amazing time with you and we always felt at home ❤️....

I recently had the pleasure to of visiting a local bar and was lucky enough to encounter a truly exceptional bartender Andi. From the moment I stepped up to the bar, their enthusiasm, skill, and dedication to their craft were evident. I felt compelled to share my wonderful experience and commend this bartender for their outstanding service. Aside from their impressive mixology skills, this bartender had an incredible ability to engage with customers. They possessed an infectious energy that created a lively and inviting atmosphere at the bar. VERY cool vibe here!! Captures the hipness of Wynwood combined with the funky, throwback decor and cool art! LOVED the vibe/atmosphere, and live band! Our hostess, Albany, was also really cool and fun! This is more of a nightclub with live entertainment most nights. As such, the food was much better than typical nightclub fare, and very economical menu prices given the presentation and pretty good quality. As in most places, some menu items were tastier than others, but nothing we ate was worth raving about except for the Taquitos. There could also be more platters. Service was ok at best, but I believe they were short staffed. I was a little taken aback by them asking for a credit card before you're even seated. It appears they've had too many guests walk out on their tabs without paying. Manager however was very amenable to me not having to do this. There was also no toilet paper nor paper towels in the unisex rest rooms. They should stay on top of things like that. Despite some of these things, I definitely recommend you...
