Mangal — Restaurant in Miami

I tried the Mix Lamb and Chicken Shawarma. Unfortunately, the lamb was quite chewy and tough, and I didn’t eat much of it. However, the Chicken Shawarma was pretty good in my opinion. Honestly, I didn’t expect much flavor when I first saw the place, but as someone who enjoys Middle Eastern food, I was happy to see a spot like this open so close to my home.

I haven’t tried their kebabs yet, but next time I go, I’ll probably order the Chicken Shawarma again. I can’t say much about the service — the person taking care of my table wasn’t particularly attentive; they took my order, brought the food, and later cleared the plate.

There’s one thing I don’t quite understand about this place though: they charge an extra 3% for credit card payments, and despite minimal service, they automatically include an 18% service fee — even though my meal only lasted about ten minutes.

I might still stop by occasionally, but most likely just for pickup. I understand it’s a new place, so it’ll probably take some time to get everything right. Hopefully, the food and service quality will...

Beyond my expectations! I had only heard great things about the Sunny Isles location, so I was really looking forward to the new Edgewater opening since I live nearby. I’m a huge fan of Mediterranean food and love trying different spots around Miami — and Mangal is truly one of the best I’ve had! The experience exceeded my expectations.

The food was excellent — flavorful, beautifully presented, and served quickly. The service was also amazing; our server Daniel was fantastic — kind, attentive, and funny. We tried babaganush and cheese cigar appetizers, then ordered the chicken shawarma with potatoes and the chicken thigh kebab with potatoes and rice — both were outstanding.

For dessert, I tried the chocolate sour berry cake, which was absolutely phenomenal. Overall, I can only give this place a 10/10. We had such a great time, and I can’t wait to come back to try more dishes — especially all the cakes (they have so many...

Outstanding! We ate at Mangal Edgewater several times. Outstanding lamb shops, shish kebabs, eggplant ( the best), shawarma and branzino. The space is very clean and upbeat, cafe style. Very high quality meat ( halal), affordable prices and warm service. We liked the cafe so much that we decided to host my husband’s birthday party. WOW! Adam, the owner and Danil, our waiter and Ulvi the pastry chef went so above and beyond! The pre- fix food was AMAZING!!! The service was so warm and friendly and our evening was tipped off with a gorgeous tiered chocolate cake with fruits that was on the same level as a famous baker’s cakes called Payard.
