Worst experience ever!!! We had just gotten into town and we're staying a couple blocks away. We were really hungry so we found this spot. We get here a few minutes before close, and the first girl at the register kindly let us know that they were closing in a few minutes. They try to hurry to get us our food and we go over the close time. As we're waiting for the other two in our party to get their food we start to quickly eat so we don't get kicked out. Generally places with good customer service just let you eat while they clean or something. Then I'm assuming the owner, this tall blonde girl comes to our table and was so incredibly rude. She rolled her eyes and told us that we needed to get out. She yelled at us and basically pushed us out. The poor older man that was preparing our food and even apologized after how he saw the owner talking to us. Mind you, there was another table of people inside still and they weren't told anything. We had to sit on the curb and finish our food. As we're eating on the curb, the reason that we get kicked out showed up like clock work. This man shows up, assuming it's her boyfriend because she gets all cuddly with him right in front of us. No wonder she kicked us out. Terrible experience. Pretentious owner. Terrible establishment. Don't come here especially late at night when it might interrupt the...
Read moreHere's the thing. I love a taco. You probably also love tacos, just based on the fact that you're reading this review. Hailing from New York, I know that the appearance of a taqueria (if you will) does not necessarily reflect the food - IN FACT sometimes there is a negative correlation between fancy decor and good tacos. SO I was excited upon walking past 29th Street and seeing the mismatched decor of Chido across from the car wash.
"Boy," I thought. "I'm in for a treat."
We walked in (my girlfriend and I), and saw that there was no one to seat us, or give us any service. Again, hailing from NY, that is okay. Sometimes the worse service means better food, and papa is willing to get smacked by a server for a good taco.
But we were sadly disappointed. The food was subpar: 1) the canned "margarita" should be thrown from atop a mountain - it tasted like sea water; 2) they didn't have guac, but somehow had a mountain of avocados sitting on the counter; 3) my alpastor looked like SpongeBob from that one episode where he goes into Sandy's house and dries up; 4) the pork taco was just chopped pork on a cold tortilla.
The ceviche and BBQ tacos were okay.

Read moreAfter trying to schedule my pick up order twice yesterday and today they both got canceled despite the scheduling being within opening hours. I decided I would just walk in. This was around 12:30 so about 30 minutes into opening. I told the associate the issue I was having and she proceed to help me put my order in the kiosk. She was moving really fast and as im asking questions she's just shrugging them off in a way. I look at my receipt and realized she had added a tip without even asking if I wanted to give a tip?! I don't mind tipping but doing it in that manner is very distasteful. After waiting for me food for a short while I grab my order and go on my way. My lunch break is only so long and I was very disappointed to see that the fish I received in my baja fish taco was old as hell!! As if it was from the day before . I cannot believe they had the confidence to give someone such poor quality food. I had no time to go back and get this correction. This is ridiculous and I feel disrespected as I was tested with both the service and the food. I...
