“ Not even street cats ate the Orange Mix“

I just finished receiving my Orange Mix meal which is a chef’s special, that got delivered for $5 plus then the tip another $5, overall $37 my total. First the menu does not say the shrimp, chicken and meat will be breaded so they use false advertising, but please take a look how the food looks DISGUSTING you don’t know what the hell is in there roaches, or what. The biggest problem lies in calling the restaurant to complaint and you get the young member whose turn it is to take care of the family business, and he gets smart on you saying there is nothing he can do if you did not like the food, absolutely no customer service. By the way the oil they use has an after taste specially on the sweet plantains, the rice had rocks of rice, overall this place buys horrible reviews for $37 dollars, they must afford them but I can say that I will never eat from this place again and whomever I talk to on 8th street I will mention emphasize not to eat at this place based on my experience the horrible customer service I received, and really the horrible presentation the food and that horrible after taste of the old used oil. The worst $37 I spent in a long time. I could not eat, and the kid who answered the phone could not extend an apology, this restaurant...

I have been ordering from them for over 10 years. To me this is the best Chinese food ever. The service is excellent. I always order the same lunch special (general chicken with spring roll) and it has always been delicious. I highly recommend it. Also the special lo mein is so delicious, one of the best I have ever tried. The pepper steak is also good from there. The fried rice is cooked to perfection, not too salty, just right. Next time I order from them I will post pictures of the food. It's a hidden gem!

Update as of 2023: I ordered from them recently and the food wasn't the same at all. They are new owners. Their lo mein was bland, they give less food than before even the fried rice was bland. I use to love their general chicken but it didn't have that sweet, tangy good flavor anymore. It's a shame because it use to be my favorite Chinese restaurant for...

I been going to this place for a long time yet they don’t t know the difference of legs and drumstick, I bout quarter leg, they charge me for quarter legs and gave me very small drumstick. Besides being a dirty place they disguised customer for money and the nice lady that was always there was not there, just a careless person is there now. When I called for my order she wanted me to return the food for a refund so I had to spent more time in driving and gas money, very bad and low level of treating good customers. There are many other places better than this one and make sure you check your order...
