Newly renovated! Clean. El coladito has , hands down , the best pupusas un Miami. I have tried a lot of others and in 8 years I live here, not even close. However, the rest of the food definitely needs some pasión a la cultura and the authenticity of EL Salvador cuisine. We got a picadera and the pastelito was burnt. The tamalito was rubbery and old. The taco even worse. I hope the new management take control and continue the tradition and make the right corrections for a good food salvadoran experience. Parking is a pain, but paid street parking is not hard to come by. The lot behind the place is usually full (which is a good sign usually).
The food is authentic, and absolutely delicious. It is not fast food, expect to wait a little bit for service, especially if it's busy. But it is certainly worth the wait.
