Cute spot in the heart of Brickell serving organic, fresh and delicious food that’s delicately prepared.
Ambiance ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They have a beautiful open space inside, and their outdoor space is perfect for enjoying people watching while still being somewhat secluded by all the beautiful plants and greenery around the perimeter of the space.
Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Although it’s walk up and order service, the cashier is always super friendly, super helpful and very very kind and sweet. I’ve never had my order come out wrong so they are very knowledgeable and the servers that bring the food to the table are very attentive to detail and come back to check up on you and clear the table with no pressure to make you leave too quickly and that is a really nice plus especially when you’re sitting at the prime outdoor tables.
The FOOD ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food is always fresh, uniquely and creatively paired while not being crazy and out there to make a statement. Their combinations work, fresh and they have great juices that are fresh squeezed and lattes. They also do a great job having many dishes that are dairy free, vegan or gluten free which is a nice thing especially when in this day and age we all deal with some sort of allergy or food and sensitivity.
Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unfortunately I couldn’t give them a five stars on this aspect, the outside of the restaurant is wonderful it’s clean and sanitized, however a few times I’ve seen customers leave tables and the waitress instead of sanitizing the table just slightly wiped it down with a dry cloth, I find this unacceptable especially during this pandemic.
The bathroom ⭐️ This is alarming, the bathroom was in decent shape however they have the system where the hairdryer comes out of the same spout where the water would normally come out of. However there is no instructions on how to operate us and I spent about five minutes trying to figure out how to wash my hands. I was not able to figure it out and all I could get was the blow dryer therefore I was NOT able to wash my hands walking out of the bathroom!!! This is alarming! I’m just wondering how many new employees don’t know how to operate this and are going back into the work force in the kitchen without washing their hands… How many customers are walking out without washing their hands touching everything, yuck! This needs to be changed immediately I did pointed out to someone and they looked at me like I was crazy hopefully if they read this review they will take it seriously and add some instructions on the wall on how to...
Read moreAmazing!!!!! Wow!!!! Let’s just start by saying the design of the place nice especially for limited space in brickell! I’m not sure HOW they even can keep food so fresh with the 1000 options on the menu, but they do!!! Completely fresh! The fact that they even serve the fruits as fresh as possible by chopping it as soon as it’s ordered is a major bonus!!! I’m allll about freshness and this place has it! Their drinks are toooo good it’s almost as if they have angel hands working in there! I’ve been here 2 times and the only reason I’m not there every single day is because I don’t live in brickell and parking is horrible! I actually got my car towed my first day coming to check this place out! But the food made it worth the stress I dealt with after! I came back to bring my fiancé for a try since were major foodies and love trying new restaurants. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!! Breakfast or lunch!! The restaurant is set up so that you order at the register then you may pick your spot to sit. But even then they have great staff walking around collecting finished dishes and assisting you with anything you may need!
My favorite dishes so far are: Fruit mix (with everything, yogurt, salt, lime, oats, honey) Horchata with coconut (WOW finally a place that doesn’t put cow milk in a drink that’s originally rice milk made fresh!!) Hojas de tomate y pollo Huevos tatemados* AMAZING Guacamole
My fiancé ordered the tostada camote with truffle and wasn’t too fond of it because it was quite bland. Didn’t have much of a truffle taste, so if you’re in to truffle, don’t expect it too much
But overall everything TOOO good! Please stop...
Read moreI went to Ojo de Agua this morning because I searched 'good huevos rancheros near me' and they came up as highly recommended. The order process was easy. It's counter service. I ordered my huevos rancheros, a fresh squeezed orange juice, and a cappuccino, which I'd have after I ate. The order taker just told me to inform the runner when I was ready for my cappuccino. The food runner, a young Latina girl, brought my food quickly.
They first thing I noticed that it just looked like a plate of green and red sauce with a piece of toast. As I pulled back the enormous amount of sauce, I was able to locate my eggs and tortillas. I found that all I could taste was sauce. The sauce completely hid the flavor of the main ingredients. I would not order this again. This was definitely NOT traditional huevos rancheros and in my opinion, shouldn't be sold as such.
After I finished my plate of sauce, I asked the food runner if she could bring my cappuccino, but when I asked her to make sure that they didn't put chocolate powder on top, she informed me that she didn't speak English. I asked her in Spanish, 'why not? this is America.' to which she replied in broken English, 'this is Miami.' And I replied, 'yes, and Miami is in America!'
Anyway, a few minutes later the young latino man that took my order came to my table and said 'did you want to change to a latte?' I said 'no, why?' He replied 'because she thought you asked for a latte.'
I don't think I will be going back to...
