Super Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in Miami

If you like old time "hole in the wall" little places.. It's like stepping back in time - somewhere in NYC where they know what a "real" garlic knot is. ($2 for 6 - such a bargain!) And there are Greek items on the menu as well - such as Gyros (cut off the roaster twirling thing as it should be) and Baklava. The "leches" come in 3 AND 4! There's an original sit down style "Ms. Pac man" and a "Frogger". The staff is nicely bilingual and those during our visit pleasant. Eggplant parmesan not made on what I think of as "Italian bread" but still good - they've got the sauce right. And the sandwhich is large. (Haven't tried the pizza*, meatballs or desserts, but will soon!) *I was assured by waitress it was not at all like what is known in Miami as "Cuban Pizza." (which after living in NYC for 13 years - is not my thing.) Soda comes in cans. We stopped by on a lark after driving past it a bijillion times. I'll be back - especially for garlic knots and - who knows - maybe a side of meatballs - and Baklava...

In the picture you'll see I unwrapped the gyro and was eating with a fork. It did come wrapped in foil to be eaten out...

This restaurant gave me poor service I waited 5 minutes for somebody to take my order everybody who worked there ignored me I came in to only get a slice of pizza and something to drink and by that the workers who I believe that worked there was just walking around drinking and the customers was there sitting down I was next in line to order something but the people behind the counter totally ignored me one guy was fixing other people's orders and when he gave it they order he went back to doing whatever he was doing another guy came from behind the counter when he grabbed the beer and started drinking beer and ignored me after 5 minutes I got very frustrated and disgusted and I left this is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been in because they did not service me and...

Just discovered this place and can't believe what we've been missing! Have only ordered delivery, so no dining experience, but really love their pizza!! 2 for 2 on great food & delivery! 2nd time we decided to order a sub (in addition to pizza), and tried the baklava. O...M...G... the baklava was stupidly good! I don't eat it often, but this is the best i ever remember having, truly! And my husband loved the roast beef sub. Definitely recommend checking Super Pizzaria out!
