My husband and I stayed at The Moore in October of 2024.
It is an incredibly gorgeous facility. The Hadid installation is magnificent and can be viewed from every floor, providing a different interpretation at every level.
We stayed in the larger suite and the interior design was spot on. Loved the in-room amenities and comforts.
The onsite restaurant (lower level) was delicious with simple meals that were layered with flavor at the same time. The chef was very accommodating to my vegan diet.
The hotel staff were highly trained and seemed ready on a moments notice to accommodate any request.
The property has multiple floors, bars and restaurants within. Even has a Macallan room, rooms for board games, pool room, meeting rooms and more.
I gave the location a 5 star because of the walkability to the many shops, art installations and dining in the Design District.
However, the hotel is a hidden jewel. As in, it’s hard to find. The front entrance is marked only with a small sign. Your best bet is to GPS to The FoundRae jewelry store because the entrance is beside the store. (Ladies, it’s exquisite - must visit) There is no one to help with luggage until you drag it to the desk yourself.
The hotel does not have its own parking which means you have to figure all of that out. Most of the parking decks do not allow overnight parking soooo…. Also, when we were there (I sure hope this has changed) the valet stands are difficult to use and frankly, most of the valet guys were complete tools. When we checked out of the hotel, we waited 45 minutes to get our car, while standing on the sidewalk with our luggage.
But, with all of that said, if you want to visit a very, very cool property I would highly...
Read moreTruly the worst hotel if you are looking to sleep at all. We came home to the loudest DJ set that felt like it was in our room. We had zero prior warning - and there was nothing we could do. Then the fire alarm went off at 1:30 am and no one knew what was going on. It went on for 10 minutes without stopping. Then an hour after the alarm - we received a text saying that we were “safe” and that there was nothing to worry about. Which was largely unhelpful. Then the next night the guest in the room next to us had an afterparty and we called the front desk and he helped us but it seemed like they knew each other? So ultimately it never go better. 4am to 5am music and loudly talking and doors opening and closing. It was actually insane. I’m all for a good time - but this hotel has paper thin doors and walls. There is zero separation between the hotel and the social club, zero security, and it’s an expensive hotel. If you have any interest in sleeping… this is not your place. If you want to party and listen to muffled pounding DJ sets until the wee hours of the night and if you like to feel like you are slowly losing your mind - you should stay here! The rooms are beautiful though....
Read moreThe More in Miami Social Club lives up to its name with an immersive, high-energy scene that’s perfect for a chic night out. The venue combines sleek, modern design with moody lighting that instantly elevates the mood. The music vibes range from deep house to high-energy remixes, with a standout DJ lineup that kept the crowd moving well past midnight. The service was attentive but not overbearing, and bottle service options felt reasonably priced for a club of this caliber. The drinks menu features inventive cocktails alongside solid classics, though some signature drinks ran a touch slow to arrive during peak hours. Entry felt smooth and well-managed, with a friendly door team setting a...
