Tokyo Tuna is one of Miami’s most overlooked gems — and it absolutely deserves to be in the city’s top-tier sushi conversation.

From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless. Friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed, the staff made us feel like VIPs without a hint of pretension. Every interaction showed pride in their craft and a genuine commitment to guest experience.

And the food? Phenomenal.

This place easily rivals some of the best sushi restaurants we’ve experienced — not just in Miami, but in cities like New York and Tokyo. The ingredients are pristine, the flavors are refined yet bold, and the execution is consistently spot-on.

Our Recommendations: Hamachi Crudo – Bright, clean, and balanced with just the right acidity. A refreshing start.

Two Timing Tuna Roll – A flavor bomb with layers of tuna, texture, and a subtle kick.

Salmon Seduction Roll – Rich, silky, and totally addictive.

Surf & Turf Roll – A decadent favorite that somehow balances luxury and crave-worthiness.

Despite how incredible this place is, it somehow flies under the radar. But we’re calling it now — Tokyo Tuna should be a top restaurant in Miami. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or just looking for an unforgettable meal, this spot is a must-visit.

We order delivery from here a few weeks ago and it was so yummy that we had to visit the restaurant. It has a super cute patio area with faux cherry blossom trees and plenty of seating and our service (shout out Wilson!) was excellent!

We started with Octopus Banditos and truffle edamame. The octopus was a bit rubbery and the sauces didn’t do it for me, but the truffle edamame was sooo good.

We also had the Two Timing Tuna Roll, Hamachi Jalapeño Roll and Hot Stone Wagyu beef HIGHLY recommend all of these!!! I appreciated that they did not bring everything out all at once. They spaced it out where we could enjoy each item before the next was brought out.

Wilson told us at their happy hour they even have BOGOs on rolls, apps, and drinks!!

Recently, three different people recommended this restaurant to us, and boy, were they right! It’s a super colorful and vibrant place, with a cozy terrace that invites you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s located in a very dynamic area, right in the heart of Brickell. The decor is perfectly aligned with its concept—it’s a feast for the eyes! Every corner has its unique touch, full of colors and details that make this place truly special.

The service was exceptional, warm and friendly from the moment we arrived. The ambiance was spotless, and the drinks menu is perfect to complement any dish.

The food was simply spectacular. The appetizers were a delight, like the crab salad and the shrimp shumai, both packed with flavor. The ramen was a real gem, and the sushi—nothing compares to it! Truly, it’s out of this world.
