Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Miamisburg

Very mislead! When I spoke with the person on the phone to confirm details, I was told one price after I added on items that day, so I figured that was my price. I get my bill and it was over $100 more than originally planned. When I brought this to the girls attention, all she said was "sorry, I guess I should have been more clear to you". Also, i asked for regular pizzas and they brought us stuffed crust and charged us an additional $20 on top of the pizza prices for the stuffed part. Before the bill was brought to me, the host said I needed to leave a review, if I left a 10, then my son would get his 2000 points, if I left anything lower, then he wouldn't get anything (on the website it says the party package includes the 2000 points automatically). I ONLY left a 10 review so my son could get his points, but honestly I should have said what I really wanted to say about this mess of a party. Our host told us to gather everyone to the table because the party show is starting, but we all were waiting standing there for 20 minutes before anything even started. We wanted to start on our own, but we were told we had to wait. Immediately afterwards, my son opened his gifts, then I went to cut the cake and was told by the host that we didn't have time for it, so our cake went to waste. If they didn't waste our time waiting on them to start the party show, we would have had plenty of time! It all definitely wasn't worth the money we spent (by surprise), will never do a party at Chuck e cheese again. So bummed how it turned out and all the extra costs they slid into...

It's spring break and most of the staff at Chuck E Cheese decided to call off. That left the nice blond lady that's been there forever in a real pinch today. She did great trying to help everybody. There was also a nice man going around trying to fix the games as they needed fixed and he was trying really hard too. I heard the manger had to cook since so many people called off. So I had no problems with the staff today. I did have problems with the quality of people that visited today. 2 families cut me off in line. I was in line, to the left a bit but in line. Suddenly the two families formed a new line to the right of me and just took over. They thought it was funny. They laughed and talked about me when I told them how irritated I was that they cut me off in line. No apologies. They really didn't care. Then later my sister was cut off in line by a tall boy who knew she was there and he just pushed his way right in front of her. I enjoyed going there more when the kids were 4 and we could go on a Monday early morning without having to keep a school schedule. That place is nuts when school is out. So today the staff was good but the clientele was pushy. I can see why people have fights there. People can be so annoying. The kids milling around were fine. No problems there. We gave a girl a token who needed one for a level-up. Just parents trying to be first in line were awful. I think Chuck ought to consider using several vending machines for the small prizes. This location is very clean, fast service and it wasn't busy at all. We went on a Friday around 11 am. Plenty of parking in a private lot. I like how they do the matching numbers on the kids hands to the adults that they come in with. However, I feel it's not very well watched and there isn't anything really blocking/sturdy enough of the entrance. I feel like a child could easily sneak through. All the games and rides were working. I do like how on one side they have things for younger children and on the other side it would be for the older kids. They offer other food besides pizza and have a salad bar. And refillable drinks. Food was ok. Very big area for birthday parties. The reason I gave three stars is due to pricing. It's very expensive and when you spend a lot of money I would think they could offer these kids decent prizes. For 75 bucks we got a cheese pizza, 4 small drinks and 60 points for games. All the tickets they won got them 2 lollipops, a mini airhead and a plastic finger. Also, if you are going for nostalgia...... don't! It is not the same at all. No mechanical chuck e and his band, games aren't as good and no climbing gym. It's just like any other game place now. I think a lot of people my age would be more than glad to pay for the nostalgia. But if your kids have never been before they wouldn't know the difference. My nephews hadn't been and loved it but my older kids had been prior to all the changes and didn't like it at all.
