We visited this place on 9-14-24 for my daughters Birthday Dinner. There were about 17-18 of us. We had the patio area, but was not told it didn't have air out there just 3 ceiling fans, it was very hot out there. But we tried to enjoy things anyway. We had atleast 3 waitresses on and off. We had to constantly ask for water refills or even just place tumblers of water so that we can pour it ourselves as it took forever to get that. Some people were waiting to even place an order. A number of us ordered appetizers and they came out and we asked for plates or something that we can share with others, NEVER got them. Some of the waitresses were acting as if we were asking to much but not the main waitress. She was polite, joking around and we did the same with her. Never knew any of their names. Let's just say I had alot of complaints. I sent my fish and chips back because they told me that it was nothing strong smelling or too fishy about it, well you could smell it coming. Finally a manger came out and I asked her was she was the manager, she responded yes. I began to tell her about the experience that we were having and that it was our first time there. I told her about the whole delay in getting water refilled, placing orders, mainly one person waiting longer than anyone else, she was about to leave. I also stated to the manager if you don't tell them what's wrong, how would they know what to improve on, and how it was crazy that we couldn't get plates, we ask for extra napkins we got 3 and there are atleast 18 of us. We asked if they could open the other door so that way air would flow through the patio, they said they didn't have a key and that they just needed to push harder on the door. It never was opened. After all this, the manger never uttered, I apologize for your experience, we strive to please, she didn't say NOTHING. She brought me some ranch dressing for my strips and walked away. I really felt like we got on their nerves or that the group was too big for them to handle. The automatically charge a surcharge to each receipt, and with this said, I would of never given that tip. It was poor service at best. Would I ever go there again, NEVER. I would of felt better if this manger would of apologized or even took notice of the issues. She just listened, no reaction of any kind. I have been to alot of restaurants in my time and had some good and bad service, but never have I had bad service and a bad manager to match. It never fails that when you have places such as this, they charge an arm and a leg for their food and then suddenly, they are closing up shop. We went for lunch and it was pretty good. Decent beer list, beer samples, good burgers and salads, not bad!
We came back with our inlaws and kids. They tried to seat us outside in the heat and humidity even though large tables were available inside. Server was distracted and struggled with the drink order. After the apps came out, the fire alarm went off. There was no fire. We gamely ate some apps and had our drinks. Alarm still going off. We went outside to finish our beer and some nachos. Fire department showed up and couldn't get alam to go off. No offers to bring water out (although the fire department did give the kids fire hats).
After about half an hour we gave up. I we t in to settle the bill. The manager and hostess comped the two groups in front of me for drinks and apps. When I came up the manager rang me up for everything, including entrees that hadn't come out (and wouldn't anytime soon, as the staff were outside). When I complained they took the entrees off at least. Also the happy hour specials rang up for higher than advertised. I didn't expect them to waive the entire bill but given the circumstances I would have appreciated a free beer, 10 percent off, or even an apology. Getting hit with charges for entrees I would never see really left a sour taste.
I understand these things happen but the way the manager handled the situation wasn't great.

Read moreMade reservations for 10 for Father's day. When we got there, it took 30 min for someone to even come over to us. We were told that we were sat in a section that didn't have a server yet. Once we finally ordered, I specifically told our server that I wanted my cheeseburger plain, cheese only. No lettuce, no tomato, and especially no onion as they make me sick. I repeated this 3x. When the food came out, my friend's food never came out. Turns out, it was never ordered. Then mine came out and had lettuce, tomato and mayo. I reminded the server that this should have been plain. He brought me a new top bun. When I bit into the burger, I found, hidden under the cheese was a ton of onions. Again, I told the server that this was supposed to be plain and that onions make me sick and I just got a mouthful of them. He said he'd bring out a new burger. By the time it came out, everyone at my table had finished their meals and we were ready to leave. I never got to eat my meal, and no one, not the server or the manager offered to take my meal off the bill. They clearly can't get orders right and when they forget an order and get one completely wrong, twice, the least they can do is offer to make it right.
