Waffle House — Restaurant in Miamisburg

So my husband and I went into this place to place a order to go. We had to wait an hour before our food was ready. Since this spot was the only place open it was like bump it okay.

My husband purchased a burger with no bacon. They had no fries so he had to get hash browns. Not only was his hash browns (shredded potatoes) was burned there was bacon on his burger.

I ordered ten scrambled eggs with cheese, two large grits with heavy butter and tomatoes, biscuits and gravy with no meat, and a large drink half orange juice and half apple juice. Which they charged me for two drinks. I’m pregnant hungry and DO NOT eat meat.

My first two bites of eggs had egg shells in it. The grits had extra cheese despite me not asking for cheese in my grits since I already ordered it in my eggs. There was zero tomatoes in my grits. Not only did my husband and I make sure there would be no meat added to my biscuit and gravy it still yet was.

The manager at the time was rude. Indicated at the time of purchase Sunday 03/14/2021 around 3am that they ran out of printing paper and could not give us a receipt. I called as soon as I arrived home and saw the issue. Their voicemail indicates that they are not answering phones and to come in and place orders and etc...I called several times. I even waited and then called back numerous of times. Still no response!

So we left and went right back there. NOT only did the same manager ask for a receipt and I reminded her that she said there’s no printing paper. She did not replace the food despite me telling her the issues and having the food on hand with little to nothing touched. So I’m out of $25 for garbage $5.00 tip, and time wasted to get the food let a lone to go back and get the issue resolved which never did.

I should of left when they said an hour...

This is a touch and go type of a place it's either you're there on the magical day that the staff is friendlier than heck and are there to help you out and answer any of your questions about the menu give you free refills be all a tune to everything that's going on giving you hot food and getting the order right however it's not always like that. There are actually days that the service isn't that great and I haven't pinpointed exactly what days to stay away from the place but so far I know for a fact the stay away from it on Wednesday period every Wednesday you order eggs and you'll have shelves inside your eggs and I know that on Friday they're a little bit busier but your food will come to the table cold and the majority of the waitresses are rude you will find hair that happens to come from a redhead that's always buzzing about the kitchen because obviously the kitchen is there workstation / drink station / walking space but you will find a red piece of hair in your food be prepared and that seems to only happen to me on Fridays and then when you ask for a manager or take the food off the order because who would want to eat hair or contaminated food? They don't allow that you have to pay for it. I'm giving them a three-star because overall as long as you don't come on Wednesdays and Fridays so far that I can see they're okay service is okay to a certain degree like I said it is a convenient stop since it's open 24 7 the choices for Miamisburg is either this place or Perkins and I would rather take this place over Perkins. Waffles are good and tasty and definitely what they're known for eat the city ham don't spend the extra for the other ham the city ham is bigger and more tastier than the other ham that they charge you for it's...

The Waffle House Experience. 04.01.2017 10:00AM. I've eaten at a number of Waffle Houses not just here in Ohio, across the south and everything in between. This was not a good experience this time. Maybe I am getting old and I like to taste my food. Maybe I appreciate peace and order while I dine. With Waffle House you know what to expect, and I am allowing for that in my rating this time. There were like 8 women and 1 dude back there working. They did seat me promptly and took my order. Which the waitress repeated to the line cooks twice. Then half way through cooking it the line cooks asked her to repeat the order which she did. They still screwed up the order. Then, to add insult to injury a couple of the woman got pissed. Real pissed. Started slamming plates, silverware and cups around. It was at such a volume that the other waitresses couldn't even yell orders over the racket. Waffle House has always been and always will be a clusterfk in this regard. Its run by rich old white guys that are stuck in the fifties. Its none of my business what a person does to make a living. If you pay and treat your staff like they are nothing this is what you get. I have to bite my tongue here. The bathrooms? I have seen cleaner jail cells. I left and didn't touch a thing. This is the last time I will go to this location. I don't think I am that picky. A clean surface to eat. Get my order right, Keep your house in order, and a clean restroom to wash up. Simple....
