Hyderabadhouse in Middletown, Ky was a real treat. The restaurant was clean, the portions were large and the staff was very friendly. What more could you want on a night out for dinner? We started out with the Goat Sukka (BONE IN). The goat cubes were large and pan-fired with onions, curry leaves (of course), and spices. This was the first time my wife and I tried goat. It was delicious! My wife ordered and enjoyed the Gutti Vankay Biryani eggplant. It arrived with a heaping amount of Basmati rice seasoned with cilantro, onion slices, spices, and most likely saffron. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Kebabs which were boneless pieces of chicken marinated in yogurt. The chicken was cooked with fresh spices on skewers in a clay oven. There were also slices of green peppers, onions, and turnips on a streaming cast iron sizzle platter. The skewers were removed before the chicken arrived at our table. Like everything else, the portions of chicken were large and very tasty. Our bread selection was the Garlic Naans which was a flat white bread. The bread was sprinkled with garlic and cilantro and baked in a clay oven. All of our items arrived with various sauces. The restaurant offered both vegan and gluten-free items. There was a modest selection of alcoholic beverages available. The parking was ample and carry out is available. You will need take-home boxes for sure. I don't give five stars often, but the Hyderabadhouse in Middletown, Ky earns one...

My wife and I have been to Hyderabad House twice: once for lunch and once for dinner. Over the two visits we have had the following dishes: Masala Dosa was meh. The crepe wasn't fresh, and the filling was lukewarm. I would not order this again. Gobi Manchurian Appetizer was very good and rivals versions I've had in other restaurants. Chicken 65 Appetizer was fantastic. It was saucier than I've seen elsewhere. The seasoning very complex. Gutthi Vankaya Curry was delicious, but very salty. It's a rich and deeply flavored dish that needed the rice to counteract the saltiness and richness. Chana Masala was different from other versions I've had. The sauce seemed less tomato-y and more cumin-y than normal. It seemed a bit smoky and was very addictive. Avakai Paneer Biryani was amazing. The mango pickle really wakes up the taste buds. Green Chilli Noodles with Chicken was ordered on both visits. I loved this dish and reheats as leftovers beautifully. I only wish there had been more chicken in the dish. Hyderabad House offers dishes made in three spice levels. We generally have had dishes spicy, but have had some medium. The waitress was the same for us on both visits. She is knowledgeable and charming. The robot delivery system is entertaining. On both visits we drank Haywards beer. It seems a little richer than Taj Mahal or Kingfisher. My only complaint is that the restaurant is a little on the...

We were nervous to come here at first when we pulled up. It looks tiny and it’s in a little strip plaza. But figured hey we are here let’s just try it out. WOW! And that’s an understatement. We make “Indian food” at home all the time with those little kits from the grocery store. And they’re pretty good. But this place? I know now that I will never again attempt that at home. This food was perfection. It was perfectly seasoned and spicy. But not burn your mouth and set your behind on fire spicy. Flavor spicy. We ordered samosas. BEST THING IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! They were crunchy and just the right amount of greasy! Next we ordered the tandoori chicken kabobs, the butter curry lamb, and the tikka Marsala goat. You can order them to the spice level you prefer. He ordered the spicy and I got the mild. Both were -chefs kiss- wonderful. They had a nice little selection of beer and whisky. Some were even traditional Indian beers! We tried one. It was really good and helped take away a bit of the spice from the food. Our food was delivered on a little robotic server! Which was honestly the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. Our server was nice and polite and helped us order since it was our first time. They had a great selection of vegetarian dishes as well! We live about an hour away and will happily drive that time and try more...

Overall, our experience at Hyderabadi House was disappointing. Despite the initial impression of a promising restaurant, we encountered several issues that marred our dining experience. Firstly, the delay in seating us, despite the restaurant not being busy, was frustrating. Additionally, the lack of prompt water service and repeated reminders for it was inconvenient. While the appetizers arrived in a timely manner, subsequent refills for drinks and food were significantly delayed. The most concerning aspect was when our waitress rushed us to finish our meal abruptly due to the impending closure of the restaurant. This lack of consideration for the diners' experience left a sour taste. It's unfortunate that the food itself also failed to impress, adding to the overall dissatisfaction. Hopefully, the restaurant takes feedback seriously and works on improving these issues in the future.
