We experienced the worst customer service ever from this location. Our go to drink is the sweet and salty. The guy handed us two drinks of what looked like milk over ice and tasted like straight sugar. We get this drink multiple times a week from the St. Matthew’s location. We know what it looks and taste like. Being people who never complain we hesitated to take it back but knew we wouldn’t drink what was given to us. We circled around only one drink was touched. We were very nice about asking for coffee to be added to it. The boy said “ unfortunately you will have to pay for new drinks because they were made correctly the first time”. After us explaining that it was not right we get it all the time he then said well what’s the problem the color or the taste?. We said both. He kept arguing with us and saying that they have too many people trying to get over on them so we would have to pay for new drinks. I would understand if we had taken more than just a sip out of one. I couldn’t believe this kid was treating us that way. He even said well I don’t even drink coffee so I’m not sure what it’s supposed to look like. He was taking the orders in the drive through but yet was so sure they were made correctly. He didn’t make them nor was he around who did. Being someone who has worked customer service for so many years I was shocked by the treatment from this kid. We eventually got new drinks at no extra cost and they were great! But we had to go through an interrogation and being treated like we were out for something free. We went to a coffee place for coffee...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped in at the 7 Brew in Middletown on Sunday August 24th to purchase a $100.00 gift card for our granddaughter at college. I asked for the receipt to send with the 2 gift cards, the first employee said she had to get someone else, she did not know how to ring up gift cards, The second girl came over and proceeded to ring up the two gift cards total $100, I asked for a receipt. My husband ordered a Blondie coffee for $5.60. We have never been to 7 Brew before., When the girl asked me to sign the monitor, I added the tip for the cup of coffee. When I got home, I saw that I paid a $15.89 tip for a cup of coffee, because I don’t know why I would pay a tip for two gift cards. nobody carried the cup of coffee to my car, someone else made the cup of coffee I believe in giving servers , good tips for good service, but $15.89 for a cup of coffee that cost $5.60. I have called customer service to ask about this, will report what their answer is,. Why a person would thing they should have gotten almost $16.00 tip for a cup of coffee. ????? Tipping has gotten out of hand!!!! To turn a monitor with percentages on it and not showing the tip amount, she knew that was a large tip!!! I would think buying $100.00 in gift cards would be enough. This is a situation that turns people away from tipping! First time ! Last time! Be aware of what you are...
Read moreI’m writing in regard to the recent promotion that was briefly offered. I understand it was intended to address some concerns from previous customers and that it only ran for an hour. However, I was extremely disappointed with how it was handled.
I arrived and got in line behind several cars, waiting over 50 minutes, only to be told at the window that the promotion was no longer being honored. That is not acceptable customer service. What made the situation worse was the lack of communication—no one came out to inform those of us waiting in line that the promotion had ended. Had that been done, I would’ve understood, and it would’ve saved a lot of frustration.
I don’t live close by and had actually stayed in Louisville specifically to take advantage of this deal. It’s frustrating to feel like my time and effort weren’t valued. Better communication from your team would have made all the difference.
This was at your Middletown location in Louisville, KY. I hope future promotions are handled more thoughtfully—with your...
