HELP!!! SOMEONE MAKE SENSE OF THIS PLEASE!!!! I WAS JUST CHARGED $18.25 FOR A BEAN AND CHEESE BURRITO!!!! That’s right. Your eyes are not deceiving you— I was just charged $18.25 for beans, cheese, and a flour tortilla. And I need the world to know it. I ordered for pick up, which I like to do to save restaurants on service fees from delivery apps. I wasn’t told the price over the phone. I get there and the woman at the counter was rude and didn’t even know if I paid for my food or not. I was honest with her and told her I didn’t. It wasn’t until my Apple wallet alerted me did I realize how absolutely absurd this truly is. I was charged for a “create your own burrito” even though I ordered the most basic item on any Mexican food restaurant? Can someone explain this to me? And how does that logically make sense? So, every burrito is $18.25, regardless of the cost of ingredients? Think of all the restaurants you could eat at for $15-$18 a person. It’s not like I asked for some special order— remember, I ordered a bean and cheese burrito. I strongly urge people NOT to go here. This was my first experience here and now, not only will I not come back, I will actively tell people this story. Oh, and yes, I was asked if I wanted to add a tip. [NOTE: Please check out the photos. And for reference, I’m a 5”2 115lb girl, so my hands are small. I was also still hungry.]

Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam! Ya boy pulled up on Salsas tre M G w/a serious taco cravin....so how was it?? Pretty solid to be honest.. when me n company walked in the we immediately got a mom&pop vibe from the place. Its small with like 8 tables & a counter for eating. You order in advance and sit down to wait. The menu is pretty clear and ya have most the traditional options represented here. Our order was: 1 8oz guac app 1 birria taco special 1 cilantro lime jalapeño special (asada) N 1 guava jarritos Total was like $45 so kinda steep The guacamole was one of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Let me tell you gettin the balance on that isnt easy n they smackt it out the park The tacos were a bit of a mixed bag....the birria being the standout of the 2... their consomme was lacking in spices and punch but the birria was on point. The asadas were nice and tender but under seasoned and a bit dry. Tbh your better off just ordering tacos Ala cart as the specials don't come w rice and beans (had I known that I would have saved a couple bucks just ordering asada tacos as the cilantro lime jalapeño didn't scream CLJ) This is a pretty authentic mexican spot that offers some decent home cooked style food. It's good but could be better

I stopped into this Mexican restaurant for a taco and tostada or 2 and I was pleasantly surprised. Apparently, the Salsas Mexican Grill's are a family owned chain, each with their own nuances. At first, it seemed like I was going to be slightly disappointed, however, Brandon, the Nephew of the owners took control and made me feel more than welcome and served up perfection. Some of the Salsas have crunchy and soft tacos, this one has only the soft and that's fine, especially when they're so tasty. I got a ground beef soft taco and tostada as well as the same with the al pastor, (and a Korean rib something which was wonderful) I was impressed. Served impressively with a perfect presentation as you can see by my pics. I highly recommend this location and bring your appetite. Ala carte, just like I'm looking for.

I paid $25 for one of their dinner plates and an order of churros.

Before I begin: I'm not much of a portion-person. If you give me A LOT of bad food, I won't rate your business higher just because you gave me a lot of it. Getting a lot of GOOD food is a different story, but unfortunately, not one I can use to describe Salsas.

Not only was I mildly surprised at the 6 strips of beef no thicker than a couple credit cards stacked together, but there was maybe a spoonful of salad floating next to a vegetable I can't identify underneath a jalapeno pepper and a whole grilled onion that was not worth the struggle to eat because the worst part of all was the cardinal sin of any food, let alone Mexican: it had no flavor.

If any salt/pepper was present, it was in the pill shaped packets they included in the bag which made the meal at least mildly savory. Otherwise, everything tasted like a different shade of water. I couldn't believe it...especially given their current rating.

It may be an exaggeration to say I thought I caught covid and just lost all my taste buds...but I'd be lying if I said that thought didn't cross my mind.

All in all, I feel like I got a loveless styrofoam container of barely any food.

The ONLY reason this place is getting 2 stars is because I believe in second chances and the fact that this may have been an off day since their churros were fantastic. If the main dish was half as good as the dessert, this would be a four-star review.

Hoping the next time I visit, I'll have a better experience....

This review is more for the hospitality. I have had the food plenty of times as take out. We came in as a party of 7 and wanted to dine in. The place was empty we found 2 tables we were going to sit at. We brought in our Friend from Hawaii who has never had a Birria taco before so we brought her there. I also brought my 8 year daughter who is very picky and would not eat anything on the menu so I ordered her a small plain cheese pizza before we got there. I walked in with the small pizza box and the cashier was nice he said there is no outside food. I explained to him it's only for my 8 year old the other 6 of is will be ordering here. He said he will ask the manager. Manager came over we told her the same thing and with a smile she still said no but I did not understand her reasoning. She said because they do not know what is in the food and allergies? It's a plain cheese pizza that my 8 year has eaten plenty of times she was not sharing it and I would have happily disposed of the pizza box in a different location. Also we don't know what is in the food they are cooking we just know it taste ok. But since they said no 2x we did not give them a problem we all left and drove to Hartford for My favorite Birria so that our friend could try her first birria taco and she loved it. So at the end it all worked out. I understand Salsa 3 does have a kids menu but again my daughter does not eat any of the things they offer. Unfortunately our family will not be able to enjoy a night out dining in there because...
