From the moment I walked through the doors of Tokyo Teriyaki in Salt Lake City, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by the hospitable staff, set the tone for what was to be an unforgettable dining experience.
The cuisine at Tokyo Teriyaki is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with precision and a deep respect for traditional Japanese flavors. The teriyaki sauce is a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and it clings to the perfectly cooked meat in a way that can only be described as divine.
I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail in every aspect of the meal. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, the meat was tender and flavorful, and the rice was cooked to perfection. It's clear that the chefs at Tokyo Teriyaki take great pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of the food.
But what truly sets Tokyo Teriyaki apart is the level of service. The staff are not just attentive; they go above and beyond to ensure that every customer feels valued and appreciated. They took the time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and check in regularly to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction.
In a city filled with dining options, Tokyo Teriyaki stands out as a gem. It's a place where the food is delectable, the service is warm, and every customer is treated like family. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and am already looking forward to my next visit. Tokyo Teriyaki, thank you for an exceptional...
Read moreYesterday, my son and I decided to go somewhere new for lunch. After hearing good things about this place before, we chose to go to Tokyo Teriyaki, over by Top Golf and WinCo Midvale. This fast casual place didn't disappoint! I ordered a chicken and shrimp teriyaki bowl with fried rice and yakisoba noodles and my son got a steak and chicken bowl. We were both super impressed with how fresh and tasty the food was. They have bottles of teriyaki sauce at each table so you can put on as much as you like. In the closeup picture of my bowl, you might notice this pinkish sauce all over it. That's the other bottle you can see next to the teriyaki, their yum yum sauce, which certainly lives up to its name with a sauce that seems to have a creamy mayo base that is sweet with a little spicy kick, but nothing that is going to start an inferno in your mouth. I went back there tonight and took my wife so she could try it and she loved it too. Tonight, for $1 extra, I had them add grilled pineapple chunks to my steak and shrimp bowl. While I preferred the chicken yesterday, the steak was tasty and also didn't disappoint. We will be back again when we're in the mood for something Asian to eat and want something high quality that is hot, fresh,...
Read moreI went to this place a few years ago and it was amazing. Rice was pefectly cooked and the chicken and shrimp were cooked amazing with a nice crust. Also, the teriyaki was really good. More of a traditional watery but very flavorful teriyaki sauce. It was my favorite place.
I started coming back recently and got the chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice. Unfortunately, the white rice was extremely overcooked to the point it clumped together and formed this very gross wet mush. Literally, the rice mushed together and was no longer grains, but a huge rice lump. I thought maybe they were having an off day, so I went back weeks later and it was the same thing. Everything else was great though. Chicken, shrimp, steak and sauce all still perfectly cooked and great. I am a texture person so eating mushy rice makes me want to throw up. Watery mush, it's just so disgusting to me that I simply do not ever want to come back. I remember reading reviews where they said the noodles were amazing and to order that. Haven't tried them, but I just love white rice with my teriyaki I have to have it. Hoping you can sort this out because years ago the rice was...
