4 visits in 3 years and there is always an issue. Primarily from the kitchen. You are so close to me, yet I never leave planning how soon I can come back. More along the lines of re-reading your page monthly trying to decide if it's time to try again. The menu is constantly changing, like my mind. I like that evolution, but what you enjoyed may not be there next time. It's a bit pricey. Entree, drink, and tip is going to hover in the $20 range. Flavor is there in most of the food. Some is just salt, which society has conditioned America to crave. Not many people carrying out leftovers, so portions must be just right. So as to not be vague for the business, let me address the fore-mentioned issues. All of these were addressed to a server and manager at the visit. All were offered to be corrected in some manner. Bill credit, re-cook, replace, or substitute. Warm soup not hot, Twice in same visit on two occasions. TV and marketing sell soup as a steaming hot. Why can't you? Mac n Cheez with lobster was dry and warm not hot. Chicken sandwich with so much aioli it had to be scraped. Tater Tots cold that were reheated with sour cream on top, rather than re-making the dish. Chipped beer glass found by my lip. I just get tired of "I'm sorry's". One should not have to expect this to happen every visit.

I've been here a couple of times. The food has always been delish. My sister made an interesting comment when she first looked at the menu. She asked, "Is this one of those restaurants that puts an odd random ingredient in every dish to appear more hip than it is?" Honestly, they might be guilty of this. But, the food is still really good. I ordered their pigs in a blanket app and the Irish skillet from their brunch menu. The pigs in a blanket were a hit. They had a ton of flavor and had a slight and subtle heat to them. The sauce they put on them is fantastic. Can't go wrong with this appetizer. The Irish skillet was not what I was expecting. I don't know why, but I was expecting something similar to a shepherd's pie. Not the case. This dish was interesting. When I first looked at it I was slightly disappointed, as it was not what I was expecting. But I was won over by the flavor. The greens were fresh and everything was cooked perfectly. Again, the sauce was amazing. Also, I tried a fried plantain my brother-in-law ordered. They were fantastic. All in all, this has been a great experience every time I've visited. And I plan on visiting again.

This is a rare 5 star review for me. I was surprised by the fact that there wasn't really a wait on a Friday night, we waited for maybe 3 minutes. Service was good, staff was really friendly. We started with a soft pretzel appetizer which was served with some sort of cream cheese dip, it was very tasty. I'm told their menu is seasonal; girlfriend had the Norwegian Salmon Wellington which was very good. I had the Rainbow Trout which was absolutely excellent. She also had the Brussels sprouts and I the broccoli, mushrooms and tomatoes as sides. The broccoli was good, the Brussels sprouts were delicious. While the food was great, there was one problem. A manager came out and told us that my food had been overcooked, and that the chef wouldn't serve it and was preparing a fresh plate for me; that's just something you don't see very often and shows a lot of pride for their restaurant. It seems like most other places would serve the food and then leave you with the burden of trying to send it back to be corrected. I highly respect the way that was handled and the speed with which it was resolved. Outstanding restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Long waits, poor service, and poor quality food, especially for the pricing. Everything we used to love about this place is now non-existent. Been a slow decline over the past few years. Manager named Phil denied a breastfeeding mother, and 11 month old baby, their own spring water they brought with them. We do not drink filtered water, and it really doesn't seem too unreasonable. A breastfeeding woman, that needs to stay hydrated in order to produce milk for the baby, should be allowed to have and drink her own water. He stated it was because of people bringing in alcohol. I understand you don't want people bringing in alcohol. I've haven't had a drink of alcohol in 4 years 3 months and 11 days. It was obvious it was a drink for mom and baby. No alcohol whatsoever. I would have allowed him to smell it or take a drink even. But really, once someone is telling my wife and mother of my child, that she can't have her own fresh spring water, that you don't offer at all.... I was extremely disturbed by his rude demeanor and we just left got up and left. We had already made reservations and waited 30 more minutes for a patio seat because they were understaffed. The day before a holiday. Seems like another management issue. So it made it difficult to go find somewhere else. We went to Mitchell's ocean club at easton instead, which makes 101 beer kitchen seem more akin to olive garden or Applebee's. That's pretty much what it's become. They are a complete joke and we will never be coming back again. Beyond that I'm telling every single person that will listen how completely ridiculous it is to watch a mother and baby get denied their reservation because she wants to drink her own spring water and coconut water that you don't have available on her mothers day...

My wife and I have been sick for two days. Symptoms started about 20 hours after eating hamburgers from 101 Beer Kitchen. We ordered on Uber Eats. We’ve ordered from here in the past and always loved their burgers. This time I noticed just a slight change in the taste, I even mentioned to Michelle that it tasted like something was on it that shouldn’t be. The next day (Friday) she had to leave work early, and by the time she got home we were both on the toilet and have been since. We ruled out everything else as this was the only thing we had both eaten in the time frame. Thankfully we saved the packaging the food came in.

That’s another issue… this restaurant does not utilize tamper proof packaging. They don’t even staple their bags shut. So it could be the chef(s) or employees at the restaurant who tampered with the food or it could be the delivery driver - there would be no way to know for sure.

I’m tempted to send this packaging off for testing to determine what was on it that made us so sick. It’s now Sunday. Neither of us have slept in two days. If it doesn’t get better soon we’re going to have to seek medical attention. Hard with a 16 month old.

Safe to say we will never be eating at this restaurant again. Whether the meat had been sitting out all day or some ingredient was spoiled or the food was deliberately tampered with (my gut tells me it’s the latter), it’s just about killed us.

Whoever was cooking this past Thursday night needs seriously questioned. Think twice before eating here! It’s not...

I really hate to leave such a negative review but as a fellow bartender and general manager; I was so disappointed in not only the service but the food as well. First, we walked in and the host was friendly. Then we casually made our way over to the bar. This is where our problems began. We sat for quite a long time without being noticed. We didn’t receive a greeting or menu for at least ten minutes if not longer. We ordered drinks and then proceeded to order our meal. The food did come out promptly. My boyfriend loved the wings. However, I opted to swap my side for the Mac and cheese which has been constantly raved about and included an up charge which was no biggie. After, one bite I was instantly appalled as the noodles were undercooked and the pasta was dry. There was absolutely no flavor. The Birria Torta tasted nothing of Mexican cuisine but yet a Smokey pot roast. The Brussels sprouts had great flavor but also were under. We asked to cash out on three occasions. The server seemed to care more about her tips than the actual guest experience or hospitality. The atmosphere is wonderful and reminded me of a brewery we opened a few years ago. Finally, we paid and left. Unfortunately, that was the best part of our experience this evening. We remembered it being so wonderful in the past when visiting but sadly, we do...
