Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery — Restaurant in Mifflin Township

I ordered my wedding cake from Smallcakes and it was DIVINE. Truly incredible. My fiance (now husband 🥰) and I scheduled a cake testing appointment to sample different flavors and the entire process was so simple. We set up our appointment, arrived, and were given an assortment of mini cupcakes to sample (I can remember how many... 8-10, perhaps). We were told we could take the samples home to try or we could enjoy them at the bakery. We decided to stay there since I couldn't wait to try them. 😆 Eating several miniature cupcakes in one sitting was definitely a task in itself but choosing our favorite flavors was fun! Kimm, the owner, checked in on us and chatted with us about custom flavors, frosting styles, pricing, etc. I wasn't exactly the most organized bride (didn't really have a ton of structure when it came to planning the wedding lol) but Kimm helped make the cake/cupcake process smooth. I sent her photos of how I would like the cake to look, chose the flavors, and then gave her the color scheme of the wedding and told her to have fun with it. 🤩 Our guests RAVED over the cupcakes and the cake. For the cake, the top tier was wedding cake flavor and the bottom tier was cookies and creme. 😍 The cupcakes were either chocolate, strawberry shortcake, or wedding cake. Everything was so so so so tasty. The cupcakes were gone within no time! 🧁 I had people asking me left and right where we ordered from. I should have ordered more. 🤣😅 I cannot recommend Smallcakes enough. ✅️

P.S. The cost for everything was beyond reasonable. Most places that I looked into charged sooo much money. After everything was said and done, I believe I paid around $200 and I'm pretty sure that price included...

My wife is all but a certified cupcake connoisseur, and therefore by proxy, so am I. As such, I have tried quite a few cupcake joints over the years, with my favorite being Collosal Cupcakes in Cleveland... until my wife found this place.

Like, I can not stress enough how good these cupcakes are. Specifically, their wedding cupcake (a special you can only get on Wednesdays) has got to be the highest form of confectionery that can be conceived. The level of sweetness consistently hits the delicate sweet spot (pun intended) between too sweet and not sweet enough, across all of their cupcakes. And the texture..... I mean words just can't do justice to how perfectly moist and springy the actual cake is, as well as the buttery, cloud like smoothness of their assortment of frostings.

And to top it all off, they also have some crazy good ice cream, I especially recommend the ice cream sandwich, which is peanut butter ice-cream between two fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

I just can not recommend this place enough. If you've ever thought that you weren't a big fan of cupcakes, you're wrong, you just haven't had these cupcakes. If you already love cupcakes, congratulations, you just found yourself your new go-to...

Started off on the wrong foot. We drove to the store because we wanted to make sure our order was placed correctly. Once we arrived and stood in line, was told to place order on our phone. Which is painful when you are ordering 2 dozen mini cupcakes and have to select each flavor individually . We left disappointed with the customer service. Flash forward to the day of party. I should've taken pictures while cupcakes were still in the box but I was trying to get all the other details of the day worked out. One cupcake was very smashed. This arrived this way. This was not from me getting it out of the box. Also the picture on the web page was a light pink...almost white. Which was the look we were going for. These arrived as a HOT pink and did not fit my vision. (last photo is from Smallcake's square site for ordering...these are the cupcakes I thought I was ordering-These are not anywhere near the same color) Cupcakes tasted...
