I went to eat here on lunch and my experience initially was not great. I had an hour lunch, I went directly over to the restaurant to order. I went at a bad time because there was a HUGE party sitting inside. I was originally told it would take like 20 minutes. It wasn't an issue because I could go to Sephora next door for a bit. I came back and my food wasn't ready. I waited for awhile longer. I was getting to the point to where I was about to cancel my order because I really had to leave. I'm not going to lie I was pretty upset because I had almost no time left to enjoy my food and drive back to work. She hostess/server was very sweet. It definitely wasn't her fault or the restaurant, that table got a lot of food I could see. She gave me a free mango lassi with my order and it was delicious! The food was pretty good too, I got one of the paneers. The naan was not my favorite though. The flavor was good, but it was a bit thin and dry for my taste. I got the chili garlic naan, which I had never seen/tried before. Overall, I had a good experience. Good food. The waiting was not good, but they made up for it and it was outside of their control at that point. I'm vegetarian and I really appreciated that there was a clearly labeled...
Read moreThis restaurant is an utter desecration of not only the Indian cuisine but also the catering industry in general. To start, the floor is extremely sticky: it takes monumental effort to remove your shoe off it. And not a single table in the restaurant is clean. I’ve attached an image of the table we sat on; please clean all of them thoroughly next time. Also, the waitress did not bother to place a straw on the terribly tasting and poorly presented mango lassi, let alone pour the water in the dirty glasses. By the way, the water jug is dirty—see the image for reference if you don’t believe me. The Bhel Puri and Kheer taste atrocious. The restaurant reeks of egg. And I ordered Chole Bhatura, and it took an hour for it to arrive. I could prepare a puri in a few minutes. And they don’t have bottled water.
Overall, I absolutely do...
Read moreI am a chef of 25 years and a certified manager in food safety and sanitation by ServSafe. Very, very clean restaurant. Wonderful and attentive staff. Water was served out of a beautiful copper pitcher, which to my understanding is a nod of respect to the vital function on the water we drink. Amazing Mango Lassi. A very extensive menu featuring both North and South cuisines. Also has Nepali food. Momo's are outstanding. Atmosphere and decor is very fun. The weekend buffet is absolutely amazing. Second to none. They serve fresh samosa chat, a huge mix of buffet items, including sweets and Masala Chai Tea. They also serve a huge dosa with your meal. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Weekend buffet is $15.99 and open from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm. Stop what you are doing and come try this...
