Update : the statement far below still stands for the workers who we encountered Friday 3/21/25. However after an encounter with the general manager Clive I recognize that my business is not appreciated nor welcome.
As mentioned previously we were there to celebrate my daughterâs 13th birthday just her and I so I ended up earning a free appetizer coupon and which we chose to dine in after a bit of shopping.
I ordered the barbacoa fries, As well as the spicy Korean wings. Upon a first appearance everything looks great but after closer review
The fries were drowning in queso and the fries were not given cooked well enough to stand alone on their own one of the managers did make a remark regarding the wings and our server asked about the fries. I asked for the wings extra crispy. The wings were blubbery as if fried directly from a frozen taste.
Unfortunately it can be very awkward especially when youâre out to celebrate to bring a complaint so it was my goal to not highlight the negative and try to make the best of the experience.
I did ultimately call Dave & Busterâs customer support and they informed me because I paid and tipped in cash that the location would be able to provide the refund.
So in the morning I called about 10 AM on Saturday 3/22/25. I spoke with a manager on duty who informed me that they were entertaining a party of 100 and Manager Clive would contact me within two hours so being that it was my daughterâs birthday weekend and we did have plans to frequent the movies and do a little more shopping with her birthday gift cards.
I ultimately switched my plans to cater around awaiting the phone call I ended up getting a gut feeling that I would likely not get a response as I did call back and it was sent to the general managers voicemail by this time about 3 1/2 hours managerâs passed and I ultimately decided to go to physically to the location.
I request to speak to the general manager Clive and he comes right out and it was as if he already knew what I was therefore and immediately began to be very expressive with his face instantly sighing.
I began to recap the situation and told him I was willing to provide photos let him know why It was communicated and a manager who I did not get the name of did make remarks as if we didnât enjoy the food but they didnât inquire further and I didnât want to make a scene of any sort.
So he tells me that because it was cash he wouldâve had to refund me the day prior as youâve already submitted his books and proceeds to tell me that they told me wrong and they shouldnât have advised me that or they shouldâve refunded me on the day of.
So mind you at this time through Location is slam packed to there are people everywhere they are certainly more inundated than they were most likely in that 10 AM slot when I called which means he couldâve taken the time to at least call me and at least address the matter that way as was promised to me by the manager under him.
However he used to say as to why he cannot honor that even though thatâs what Iâve been told by customer support as well as the manager that spoke to me on the phone. he then suddenly heads to the cash register without making a word and ask for the receipt and to bring back my $15.65 he comes back and he says now I have to explain to corporate why the draw is short $15
There was no empathy and there was no concern there was no real inquiry about the issue in itself he shouldâve been to investigate the matter with the food or to express some sort of sincere apology for the experience he was more concerned about corporate matters versus the customer experience.
Itâs disappointing as this location is so close in proximity and we really did enjoy ourselves.
I just canât bring myself to patronize and spend my hard earned money at a this establishment going forward.

They also didn't make it clear that the drinks that were being passed on the tray you needed to use one of your drink tickets for nor did they make it clear about a sign up ahead for the virtual reality and not just get in line. But I understand that they were still working out some Kinks so I allowed it. So I tried to go on Tuesday there second day open to the public and I called ahead for a pickup order of tacos they said to come in 15 or 20 minutes which I did. I went to the mall side and there's a huge line because they were not prepared for election day and they were completely understaffed. I did not wait in that line as it was obnoxious and I went towards the front and I asked the manager excuse me where do I pick up and the guy looks at me and says pickup what and I said my food order and he just points and I said I don't know what that means and he says the front so I go towards the front which I assume means the outside entrance and I ask someone there where do I do a food pickup and that person goes and talks to the hostess Hostess goes and talk to the bartender the hostess comes back and says that I go to the front desk which was right next to where the second person that I had asked where I do a pickup order was standing so I go there and the girl's looking for the ticket and sees nothing about tacos she then asked the girl standing next to her and she says they need a menu and the girl says no they need to pick up their order did you put in anything for tacos do have anything and she says no I don't so she uses her walkie-talkie and she calls in back and she says they're not ready yet it'll be a few more minutes and my friend who's with me says we were told 15 or 20 minutes and it's been longer than that now so then she waits a while calls back again and says okay the manager will be out in a minute. He comes out and asks did you order the tacos and we say yes and he says yeah sorry but we don't have the product for that what can I get you instead by this point our lunch is over so we left with nothing there were multiple times that they could have told us that they did not have the product they could have even called us and let us know that. speaking of calls before we even placed the order I called to find out what kind of tacos they had and the woman picks up the phone and says thank you for calling Dave and her other line Rings all of a sudden I'm on hold I'm on hold for 2 minutes before I hang up and call back. that is not how you use a multi phone line system. anyways when I call back I say what kind of tacos do you have and she says what i say again what kind of tacos do you have when she says I can't hear you I can't understand you so I say tacos tacos I then spell out the word tacos and she asks Combos and I say no tacos I finally get her to understand what I'm saying and she says chicken or pork yet doesn't tell me anything that's on them nor the fact that later my friend who called in the order would be asked if I wanted soft or hard tacos.    Read moreThis place in awesome. We booked a birthday party, had 16 guests ( 18 really, but 2 did not show) and everything was fantastic. The team went above and beyond. Let's start with the fact that I was nervous after reading reviews about cold food, and the place being smaller than others in the mall. Well. I have never been to a D&B's so I cannot compare. We arrived at 2 pm to set up for the party at 2:30. Unfortunately our family doesn't understand when I say 2:30... our guests started arriving earlier and we weren't set up with our birthday party yet. But the D&B tables were all set up and they had gotten our drinks already, got our food details and working on our game cards. I sent the kids off to play until our food arrive so we could get settled in, and when the food was ready to arrive- they called the birthday guests over the loud speaker. We had 16 guests (mostly adults) and we had plenty of food. I ordered 2 platters. And 10 kids party packs. We had extra to take home and everyone was full. I wish I had gotten a salad. We had lots of fries, and nuggets but we will blame my husband for thatđ I am a pescatarian so everyone else enjoyed chicken fingers, bbq ribs, bbq sliders, beef Sliders and burgers. All the food arrived hot and fantastic. If you decide to wait and keep playing while the food has arrived and it gets cold, that's on you. We had upgraded all cards to unlimited play (doesn't include the ticket games or rewards games) but all blue actual video games were unlimited. So worth it. The server, Autumn was fantastic and attentive. Consistently checking up on us to make sure we had soda and water refilled (we never ran dry) and everything was good, as well as our party host (goodness I cannot remember his name right now) but he was awesome. So professional and explained every step or question. He went above and beyond to get us anything we needed and made this birthday a success. He told me to relax, they got it. And it was true. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy the party, and decide when to open gifts, have cake and hand out video game cards. I was concerned about room prior to arrival, but we had a drink table, a gift table and the food dining area. The time flew by. The 2 hour space rental was perfect timing and we stayed and played until 9 pm. Redeemed our tickets after that and could have stayed until they closed at 2 am. I was tired and as soon as the kids got in the car they passed out. Of course, they didn't want to leave and they were shocked it was dark out lol. A great experience with so much to do and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to have birthday parties here. Lastly, price wise, this was perfect. I usually do outdoor camping parties that drag and everyone complains about heat. You have AC, food prepared and brought to you and more.
