I'm really disappointed this time around. I normally eat in and service takes forever but worth it. This time I ordered online for pickup. When I got home we were not pleased, both of steak meals were wayyyyyyy over cooked basically burnt when they were supposed to be rare and medium rare, the toppings for the loaded baked potatoes were sad everything was in a tiny cup the size given for ranch for the salad for all the toppings in 1 cup and they were only a 1/4 to half way full, nothing compared to what you receive when you eat in. By the time I got home they were closed so I called next day and was told to come in for a gift card for the entire order amount of over $80. When I arrived to get it I was told he was busy and would email it, days go by and still no email everytime I call I sit on hold forever waiting on the manner until they just hang up. This is the worst service I've experienced here and that is upsetting because it's one of my favorite places for 5 years in town. This call hung up on me at almost 51 minutes with no manner ever coming on the phone.

Update: got a call from the manager who was very helpful and made it right. Changed stars from 2 to 4 Frequently visit this location. Ordered a filet and my daughter ordered a sirloin(med rare). Hers was thick while mine was thin and cooked well done(supposed to be med well). I asked the server if they were correct and was told she'd have them get me another one. Instead, the manager came out with an attitude and asked if there was a problem. She said it was correct. I wasn't going to argue with her but look at the photo. Our refilled drinks tasted fruity and had a chemical (oil) floating on top. On a previous visit, I had ordered a chicken sandwich and it was raw throughout the middle. My family had already finished eating when I got my replacement chicken tenders and no manager ever came out to apologize or address the issue. We usually enjoy this location but they've been off recently. I think we'll visit another location for a while

Sadly, had a rough night at LongHorn Steakhouse. Our waiter really tried, but he got our order wrong, had to wait until my meal was finished for a lobster tail to finally be delivered to the table. The hamburger my granddaughter ordered was burnt beyond consumption, even after scraping off the charred edges. Really bad choice for a birthday meal stop. The manager stopped by due to the waiter's heads up, but offered nothing but a free dessert. A proper response would have been to deduct the burned meal (sitting uneaten in plain site) and the cost of the delayed lobster tail. We opted to decline the dessert and pay the full bill. Very sad. The drink was good. Follow up: The owner reached out to me to apologize and the customer relations did as well. We have a gift card to return and give them another chance and we plan to do that. Thank you for reaching out.

Edited from October...

If today was my first time at a Longhorns, it would be my last. It will be my last for a while, I imagine.

Here is the laundry list that came to mind during tonight's experience:

This was the second visit in a row for us that after ripping the bread and wiping it in the butter and contemplating how to eat the salad that the silverware arrived.

In all fairness, I would have asked for silverware tonight after my soup and salad arrived together ...but I was thrown off because my wife's soup didn't show up at the same time. I figured that the runner was going back for hers and I could ask for the salad fork then. However, he never came back.

Neither did the waitress until she brought refills for our drinks we hadn't drank yet. I tried to catch her eye the two times she visited the next booth over but she didn't look our way.

Luckily, she did bring those drinks, though, so we could tell her about the missing soup amd silverware.

Both of those arrived approximately 1 minute and 45 seconds before the runners arrived with our main courses.

The NY Strip which is advertised on the menu as a thick cut was not. It was 2 1/2 inches wide, 8 inches long, and 3/8 of an inch thick. Waffle House sells the same one but it isn't $25.49 and I wouldn't write a review if the temperature was wrong there. There was a thin strip of pink center in places but mostly it was medium at best. It also had a strangely grainy mouth feel.

The baked potato, on the other hand, was undercooked. My wife said the potato in her soup was also underdone, strangely enough.

I did enjoy the soup, my salad, and the company of my dinner date.

However, to round out the visit, the to-go order which we advised our waitress of when we ordered the rest of the meal, took an extra 15 minutes to arrive at our table even though she said it was "about to come out" when we got ...and before we paid the check.

I was pleasantly surprised that she had remembered ... but, apparently, she had been under the impression that it was someone else's responsibility to deliver that and seemed genuinely surprised that we were still occupying the table so long after she had returned our bill.

Our son did report that the chicken bites were only a little extra crispy which would have been fine if you had included the dipping sauce with which the appetizer is usually...

Feb.9th visited this restaurant to place an order. Upon returning home immediately noted appetizer did not return with me. Called restaurant. Apologized and told my next visit would include this item. Preparing my plate for consumption and discovered sweet potato severely undercooked. As in one side slightly soft while remaining side seemingly not cooked at all. Husband’s sweet potato also under cooked. Returned to restaurant with potatoes in tow. Received two more potatoes and the appetizer. Returned home and discovered not two sweet potatoes but one sweet potato and one baked potato. I had ordered pork chops and actually sampled one before my return trip. Quiet tough but I decided I could make it work. Of course I reheated the chops about 15 seconds because I wanted a warm meal. Chops not fit for consumption. Called restaurant. I was sent a 75 dollar gift card by email. Now I appreciated that but mind you the initial dining experience was ruined so…. Next visit the following Thursday. Used gift card. Checked bag before departure. Only needed butter for the bread and lemon slices for salmon. Returned home. Prepared meal. Salmon severely undercooked as was rack of ribs. Milledgeville Longhorns food quality has slowly plummeted in recent months. We usually get takeout from this restaurant couple times per month. I’m not nor have ever been a fan of chain steakhouse food but my husband enjoyed this restaurant and I found it to be tasty enough and usually properly prepared. What is happening? If continues we will be adding this restaurant to the many others that are closing...

We all bout to starve at this point. We asked if we could at least be seated in same row as the other part of our party was adjacent to our booths, she said no and wouldn’t even accommodate the request. When I tell you this messed with my anxiety as a Veteran! The unprofessionalism and no attempt to provide our party with a pleasant experience is reprehensible.
