Nestled inconspicuously within its surroundings, the Thai restaurant may not catch the eye from the outside, but its interior tells a different story. Upon entering, guests are greeted with a refreshing sense of cleanliness and modernity, setting the stage for a pleasant dining experience. The interior ambiance, while not traditionally cozy, exudes a welcoming atmosphere that complements the restaurant's focus on contemporary cuisine.
Despite its unassuming exterior, the sleek and modern interior design adds a touch of sophistication to the dining experience. While it may not embody the cozy charm of a traditional Thai eatery, the clean and inviting atmosphere creates an enjoyable setting for patrons to indulge in flavorful dishes.
The menu offers a selection of Thai classics and modern interpretations, with highlights including flavorful curries and aromatic stir-fries. While the food is generally satisfying, it falls short of achieving culinary excellence, with some dishes lacking depth of flavor or finesse in execution.
Service is efficient and attentive, contributing to an overall positive dining experience. However, prices may seem slightly high for the quality of food offered.
Despite minor shortcomings, such as the lackluster exterior and some inconsistencies in the food, the Thai restaurant provides a decent meal with a clean and inviting ambiance. It may not be the epitome of culinary perfection, but it offers a pleasant dining option for those seeking modern Thai cuisine in a...
Read moreThis is the place where we usually go for Thai and Cambodian cuisine. They have several locations accessible Bay Area, we particularly used to go to the one in Campbell location but recently we visited the one in Milpitas.
Our some recommendations from Thaibodia: • Pad See Ew. We love how flavorful the wide noodle is! Especially when you choose beef as your protein, it tasted really delicious with the noodle. • Chicken skewers. They grilled the chicken so well, and it’s a perfect combination with the peanut sauce. • Golden Prawns. Perfect for appetizers, and it comes with fries as well. So if you have picky eater in your family/group this would be perfect for munchies. • Hor Mok. We chose chicken as our protein based. Usually people would order fish as protein, but any type of protein is good since the coconut cream sauce really hit the spot. We love this dish so much and we always order this whenever we visit this place. • Spring rolls. We love this as appetizers since it’s packed with veggies and can fuel you up. • Thai Papaya Salad. Fresh, light, very much spicy if you love spicy, and the green mangoes make it even crunchier to eat with the other ingredients of veggies like long green beans, tomatoes, carrots. • Mango Sticky Rice. Rice was a bit soggy for us. But nevertheless this was a great dessert to close everything that we had.
Milpitas location is bigger and perfect if you want to host parties and celebrations...
Read moreNow, I do not usually make reviews, but this needs to be said. While the food and atmosphere are definitely worth checking out (despite the expensive pricing), I do believe that an invisible gratuity fee of 20% if a person has 5 or more people in their party is extremely deceptive and in my opinion, feels illegal! If a restaurant cannot inform their customers about gratuity fees when it is required, that is a shady business practice! This place has great potential for being a hotspot for Thai and Camobodian food, but as a customer, if I cannot get full transparency of what I pay for, I don't really want to come back again.
EDIT: Hi Thaibodia! Thank you for responding to address these issues. Admittedly, I will say that not seeing that text is on us, as I had no idea that it was actually stated on the menu! (My brother was the one who was ordering, so it's definitely possible that he completely skimmed over that, in that case, that is on us.) May I make a suggestion though? To avoid future frustrations, maybe staff could openly disclose the fee policy immediately if a table has a party of 5+ people? Just so that it isn't a surprise when the bill comes if a party like mine overlooks the fine print. That, or possibly making that gratuity fee policy more prevalent in the menu too? So that it isn't as easily overlooked. Once again, thank you for responding to clear up my confusion, and I hope you take my suggestions into...
