Came here for a quick bite before shopping at Walmart. It was a little busy. We were a party of 3, me, my boyfriend and our daughter. We stood at the door for a while before anyone acknowledged us. They made a jester for us to sit at the only open table. The table had 2 plates with chopsticks. No one came by with another set or asked if we wanted a fork for our daughter. We had to call the server over a couple times before getting anyone's attention. We had to ask for a menu. We got a California roll for our daughter, 49er roll, baked scallop roll for us. We also got the hamachi appetizer. Unfortunately nothing was good. The hamachi appetizer was big pieces of fish with toppings. The imitation crab tasted old so the rolls were not good. Even the cucumber was old and dry. That was why the middle was cut out. I was hopeful that the sauce in the baked scallop roll would make it taste better but it did not. The white sauce was fishy and sour. Very disappointed as we spent over $80. You would think if service wasn't good maybe the food would be. Neither were good. I'm surprised this place was busy. We definitely won't be back.

Was driving around the area after running errands in Milpitas, and I'm glad this restaurant popped up in my radar. The sushi bar is larger than you expected; they have an oval yellow bar where the positioning does make the sushi chefs the focal point for the customers' attention. The decor is cute with oriental sauce containers and mini plates. They have hand sanitizers scattered through the bar, so that was a relief to see. Our waitress was attentive, quick, and efficient with our orders. What we ordered: -Agedashi Tofu: good portion of tofu with bonito flakes sprinkled atop; the flavor warmed us up, especially on a cold day. --Chicken Karaage: must order!! The chicken was crunchy, seasoned to perfection, and packed with flavor. The condiment sauce was great to pair it with. -Angry Dragon Roll: great amount of spice content and the sauces were drizzled all over the plate aesthetically. -Lion King Roll: a very saucy roll that was delicious and flavorful. The salmon was juicy and had a nice amount of fatty texture. Would certainly come again if I was in the area!

I recommend you order sushi, not the dish that I ordered (shrimp tempura with deep fried vegetables). I can never find a good Japanese restaurant in the south bay that knows how to use the right flour to cook shrimp tempura. I have to go to the City, SF, that is. Don't order any tempura. The couple next to me order sushi, and the dish looks very tantalizingly delicious. The place is small so sit at the yellow sushi bar. I rate it 3☆ (for the restaurant) to be nice but my dish is 2☆.

Food was actually not bad. I enjoyed there fried California roll and the chicken teriyaki plate. The problem is the wait staff acts like they don't wanna be there. Both times I went this young man with the worst customer service helped us. Acted like we were inconveniencing him (we were the only ones there). Someone like that completely kills it for me. The second time I came in I even brought company, but service was so bad my guest even noticed the shortness and rude attitude. As embarrassing it is bringing someone to a restaurant and getting bad service, it's more embarrassing that this young man has such a terrible attitude. Once I got in the car we were all in agreement that we'll never be back. Better sushi place just down the street.

Because of this, I would avoid. The food is okay, but just that. I really wanted to like this place, but the uncomfortable feeling you get from the wait staff is...
