Well, I wish I would have read the reviews before I spent my hard earned money. I was in an accident earlier tonite, and I just wanted a hot meal, Chinese sounded good. Chopsticks was recommended. So, I decided to give them a try. This is the first negative review I've ever written...I'm sad to say that they deserve it.
First off, they didn't write down that I ordered crab rangoon so those were missing. I moved on to my egg drop soup. It is thick...as if thickened with cornstarch....it stuck to my lips...the egg drops are 'in suspension' .... And they haven't moved. It's not a nice broth at all. And very bland.
Next, I opened my fried rice...very dry...and not hot. Okay. Strike three.
I ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken. (I should have ordered my usual Gen Tso's Chicken) To my surprise, there were a box full of breaded chicken pieces....with a total of 8 - 1 to 1.5 inch pieces of nearly raw vegetables. 3 green pepper, 2 onion, 3 raw carrot slices. The chicken and vegetables were NOT stir fried together in the sweet sour sauce...they were not stir fried at all! I called to see what the heck was going on...the girl said that how they always make their sweet sour chicken, with the sauce ON THE SIDE. WHAT.???? Nothing was cooked together/stir fried together. It's just horrible. The chicken inside the breading is dry as a bone.
As I write this I'm getting that post-Chinese food tummy ache. I haven't even looked at the egg rolls I ordered. I just felt them. The wrapper is soft to soggy. Not crisp. Another disappointment.
What a total let down. If I had a car I would drive there and give them everything back. 21.55 in food, not sure I can eat any of it. My driver was decent, gave him a 4.00 tip. He ended up far better off than I did.
I would have been better off getting a breakfast...

I prefer fresh cooked food and a longer wait to reheated food in a few minutes. I've ordered twice from here, and the first time was just OK. Tried them again and felt like my $50 could have been spent in a better way. The little old guy that delivers is awesome. The people that take the phone orders could use some manners. They take orders a lot like.... "What do you want?" and "No shrimp eggroll, only chicken" with a tone that denotes that they already put your order for eggrolls down and it is a foregone conclusion that you want the chicken ones. The eggrolls are soggy with oil, but have a decent taste if they don't use dirty oil (first time was good, second time dirty oil). The fried rice is decent, the general's chicken is not cooked fresh. The orange chicken is also not cooked fresh and has too much ketchup in the sauce. The fried dumplings where put in a fryer rather than out of the steamer and into a pan to give them a quick browning like most places. I prefer the non-fryer version, and they were also very small. Portions on the rest of the stuff were consistent with most Chinese places (a good hearty portion) I've had better Chinese food almost everywhere, their strength is in the hours of operation and delivery. They are open for delivery until 3am. You would be hard put to find another place serving...
Read moreThis is my 1st time ordering from the restaurant. First off I must say the delivery guy was awesome amd on time. No problem finding my address and I tipped him. I ordered around 10pm. Now the hours of operation is 11am to 3am. I assumed that since that stayed opened so late that the food would come fresh or made to order. So I noticed I couldnt bite through the sesame chicken and that my rice was stiff and dryer than what im used to being a chinese food lover. So I did the right thing and called the restaurant back. Someone named Wendy answered and claimed to be the owner, so I kinda thought I would be accommodated alot better than talking to a cashier being that he/she is the owner. It was the opposite. Wendy argued with me and told me that the food I was looking at was fresh and I was the only one who complained. First off Customers are always right. I could've became a regular customer thst wouldvevbrought more revenue to your business but instead of being professional and courtesy Wendy choose to do something bad for business on top of me purchasing bad food that i have to settle with becuase of unprofessionalism very very poor customer relations. Paying Customers is the reason your business exist. Remember that. It could be the next wron g customer getting handed bad food and bad customore service who will call the health department and new channels and even more bad reviews....
