Great beer, lovely staff, scenic locale.
I bounced around the bulk of their offerings and found them all to be downright lovely. The Ode - Rice Lager was altogether crisp and inviting, the Brewer's Reserve Stout was rich and sultry. I appreciated they provided good glassware and offered a variety of incremental pours, so you can try a whole range of brews and then hone in on some repeats with heartier portions later on. Of special note was the music selection featuring long gone, sadly forgotten bands like Pinback. The food was great from the in-house Trouble Makers Cocina, but we arrived just after about 10 other people ordered, so there was a thirty minute wait for our appetizers. I think it was understaffed when we visited. We tried all of the vegetarian items, and they were all unique and good. The beer was great, as expected. My wife and I shared a flight of some of our favorites. Being early on a Saturday also had a surprise for us in the number of families with young children, including infants. It was a family-friendly atmosphere. I really liked the history and layout of the architecture. Having multiple levels and a garden downstairs was an enriching experience. Much more going on than the...
