Lovely cafe with scenic lake views located in the basement of the art museum. This place is a must try during your visit. They have a nice selection of options, but expect to pay higher than normal prices compared to other places. The food came promptly and the staff were friendly and inviting. Read moreHusband and I went here after enjoying the museum—we ordered an iced coffee, matcha and croissant. After 25+ min we received neither—my husband asked the young gentleman behind the counter about it, after sitting and waiting another 20+ min we watched barista make 3 other people their orders, and make conversation with others in the dining room. We could not get a refund, to “make-up” for what he did not do, the kid gave us a cup of ice with one shot of espresso in it, and AN OLD MATCHA from someone else’s order they didn’t pick up heated up.

Read moreThe view here is beautiful and the food is surprisingly good! I came here many years ago on a high school field trip and remember more about this cafe than the museum.
For the quality of food and beautiful plating, you can't usually find a comparable price. The sauce just had so many LAYERS of flavour. I came again recently with my best friend who is lactose and gluten intolerant, so it was really nice to be find a dish that she could eat and didn't need to be massively modified.
