Novel Tea Room — Restaurant in Milwaukee

We hosted a bridal shower for about 25 people for my friend with Novel Tea Room in May, and it was a WONDERFUL experience!

Nadia, Laura, Ryan and everyone with Novel was extremely professional and lovely to work with. The tea room was a beautiful setting for a shower (I heard many compliments from the bride and groom's family regarding the space and the bride said her late grandmother would have adored Novel as well) and the tea was DELICIOUS! The groom's mother is an avid tea drinker, and greatly enjoyed sampling the different teas we had available! The pricing for the event was also fantastic.

The bride said it was the perfect day and everything she wanted and more. This space is the perfect setting for all sorts of intimate special events and occasions, like bridal or baby showers, birthday tea parties, book/staged reading, and the team behind it (and the tea they serve) is just as excellent.

I had a large group event here where my friend did the reservation in a side room and we got to try 3 teas with a pastry of our choice. Try to give yourself time to find street parking or get dropped off. We enjoyed our time a lot as we had a chance to talk and drink tea. My favorite tea was the Roselia herbal tea (hibiscus & lemongrass) out of the bunch. We got to smell the tea in the bag before it was served steeped to us and the host told us more details about it.

Beware of inaccurate hours being posted went there before 1 on a Friday about 12:50 12:40 and place was already completely closed and cleaned up no one there at all I would call when going to ensure closing time is at 2 or to ask second time going they closed early & could only do to go orders again inaccurate hours but host was very kind and friendly with fast service and the tea...
