Sabbatic — Restaurant in Milwaukee

We used to love this bar, but unfortunately the smell has driven us away after years of fun. We were there last week and there was an absolutely horrific scent of sewage wafting throughout the entire bar. I understand the bar is under new ownership, but the bathrooms are in complete disrepair. I love dive bars, but I just cannot stomach a drink while being blasted in the nasal cavities with someone's liquified lunch. Worst experience ever at a bar. I just stopped by for my first visit and town, and this was not a good experience. The drinks were fine, but the guy at the bar was not friendly at all. He seemed bothered by my friend group and I being there once we walked in and couldn’t even look at me when I asked about speacials. Nice little hole in the wall grungy punky hipster place. Good vibe. Good music. A few of the workers weren’t that happy but it was late and it was busy in there so I totally get it.
