Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Minneapolis

As someone who’s been in the service industry I don’t leave bad reviews for service industries but this was a Really bad experience, probably the worst I’ve had at a restaurant. Came in for some food after my son’s high school graduation was told they were short staffed and had no tables available so we decided to order our food to go . we placed our order, paid and waited outside after about 15 minutes it was dying down and there was open tables so they seated us inside. Over an hour went by and no food or update from our server, despite us asking twice if there was any confusion with our order since we originally placed it to go, our server said initially everything was fine...

An hour goes by we ask again about our order and again he said he was going to check and come back, both times he said he would check back with us he did not. So we went up front to ask to speak with whoever was in charge because we weren’t getting anywhere with our server. Finally we found someone willing to look into our order the manager was very nice and offered a refund and said he would go find our food since we had been waiting so long.

After all this we got our order in our in to go boxes literally NOTHING in the to go bag was our order.

What we ordered? 10 piece boneless wings , two burgers and Buffalo chicken wrap fries with our meals and sides of ranch for the 10 piece.

What we got? A surprise bag of random COLD wings...I’m talking a lot of wings.. different random wings.. like they just threw stuff in a bag .

When we first got there they told us right when we walked in they were short staffed and they ran out of their traditional wings, but in our surprise bag we had a 12 piece of traditional wings, several different kinds of boneless wings, an order of some kind of fried cauliflower and 1/2 little box of fries... No utensils , napkins, not even any sauce for the bag full of random wings.

On top of all this I was told I couldn’t get a refund because I paid in cash and I would have to come back the next day to collect my refund (for the mystery bag of cold wings) I did go back and got a full cash refund, but holy s* I honestly felt bad for the manager who was super nice and was doing his best to try to rectify the situation. 1 star for the manager because he was really nice I know how it feels to be in the...

9/17 an order for “Birthday wings” and the 20 wings and large fries was placed ($21 value). The wings had an odd taste and after consuming a few I became ill. I knew it was from the wings so I did not continue to eat them. I received a survey and left a review. The manager, Mason, called for a follow-up and was gracious enough to offer a refund. I was asked if there was anything else that could be done to rectify the situation. I requested the meal be remade FRESH, no charge, when I was able to visit again and Mason stated that could be honored and provided his schedule.

Unfortunately, there were conflicts in our schedules so I called in on 9/28, when I was available, and Mason was not. I provided the above information and asked if the order was able to be remade and I was told yes.

I requested the manager prior to ordering to ensure we were on the same page and she told me the “Birthday wings” were being made to go. We sorted out the details and began my dine-in experience. The manager required me to use the gift card Mason provided. The order was originally paid for in cash so this was his idea of a refund. I decided to utilize the gift card to pay for the order that was being remade even though that wasn’t the agreement. The miscommunication sparked a poor interaction for an already horrible experience.

I’m now writing this review because the server was horrible. She acted uncomfortable during our few interactions, took over 50 minutes to bring out my order, avoided eye contact, and walked past several times without acknowledging me/my table. She did not ask how the food was, did not offer a refill, or a beverage besides water, and only came back to provide my bill. After patiently waiting 50 minutes, the fries and wings were not hot and seemed as if they were sitting for some time. I did not complain, but gave her the fries back to receive fresh ones - she quickly returned with what seemed to be the same batch. When she brought the bill, it was for over $50. I respectfully explained the situation again. In addition, the manager acted as if I was lying and never returned to the table. The food and customer service at this establish is not recommended. I gave it another chance after being hesitant and being treated so poorly made my decision final. I personally will not be revisiting...

The service was really bad. They got our order completely wrong and we had to bring it back then they gave us our second order and it was still wrong but we were already home so we decided not to bring it back. I spent $70 plus there and we ended up throwing it all in the garbage the food was so bad and without taste. We ordered a cheese and bacon cheeseburger with nothing else on it except a little lettuce when we got it home they had that wrong also. I don't know what it was but it wasn't a bacon lettuce and cheeseburger. It looks so bad like someone had thrown up all over it after drinking a beer it totally destroyed our appetite. We told the girl taking a order we wanted 18 chicken wings and that they were for children so we didn't want any buffalo sauce on it at all just plain chicken wings. We get them in the car and decide to check them it turns out that they were loaded with buffalo sauce. We brought them back and told her that's not what we ordered the little kids can't eat stuff that hot. So she gave us another order of plain chicken wings. But the chicken wings were so small and didn't have any meat on them at all they were all skin and bones only. And no taste to them and all dry. So like I said we ended up throwing every bit of it into the trash because no one would even eat it. We tried to give the dog some of the hamburger and the chicken wings and the dog even turned his nose up at them. I ended up ordering a extra large pizza from Domino's for way less money and it was much better tasting. I would never ever recommend wild buffalo wings do any of my friends are relatives. And I definitely will never go there again I guess you live and learn. That is the most horrible place I've been at in a long time as far as their food goes . Especially when you pay $70 for food and you don't get anything for it. And the french fries were ice cold and tasted like McDonald's french fries it was absolutely horrible I really don't think they deserve any stars. If I would have known that their chicken wings we're so small and didn't have any meat on them I would have went to the local grocery store and bought some chicken wings at the deli.
