Visiting Milwaukee Road was an experience transformed into sheer delight, thanks largely to the wonderful service provided by a warm, graceful waitress named Demeris. While the restaurant is an elegant and comfortable environment, she makes the experience like a warm gentle breeze straight from the picturesque landscapes of Greece. From the moment I am seated, her welcoming smile and pleasant demeanor set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Food is enhanced not just by the ingredients and atmosphere, but by the individuals involved in preparing and presenting a meal experience. Not only is she a vision of beauty, but her depth of knowledge about the menu and her insightful recommendations is like having a personal culinary guide. Nothing more can be asked of someone serving a meal. She is attentive without being intrusive and ensured that every aspect of the meal experience was perfect. It is rare to encounter such genuine and dedicated service. As a guest, the high standards of this establishment are reflected in the service she provided. Frankly, a visit here would be incomplete without the privilege of being hosted by her. Demeris is a gem that makes dining here a memorable event and begs many, many more...

We dined here for a group event, limited menu. Three of us by me had what looked like a tenderloin, two of us (including me) had what looked like sirloin! The smaller but thicker tenderloin looking pieces, perfect medium rare, leaning towards rare... beautiful. Those of us that had the sirloin looking cheap looking cut, overcooked thin slab of meat, medium at best, closer to medium well. Manager came out to address it, said it was Wagyu, all the cuts were sirloin. What is this, Ponderosa? Wagyu, sure…I find that very hard to believe. Even so, that’s like raving about how a 1984 Cadillac Cimmeron is a Cadillac! All that aside, when I pushed the manager to tell me my meat was medium rare, she was flustered, hemmed and hawed, finally said it was medium ish. As just about everyone was almost done eating, and I wasn’t in the mood to argue, I just let it be. Once the manager left, those dining with me thought it was ridiculous that the manager took zero ownership and that I should have had them recook to what I actually ordered. So, finally I did, got an appropriately cooked but still poor quality tough chunk of beef.

Our server Jen...

Made a reservation for a 10 year anniversary months in advance at 10pm for late dinner and cocktails. Got a voicemail the DAY OF to say there kitchen closed at 9:30 and that we would need to come in early if we wanted to eat. When I called back at 8pm to confirm they could still seat us if we came at 9:30 someone else said the VM didn't matter because they were so busy they closed the kitchen even earlier.

No one showed any concern. No one offered any apology. As a Marriott member and loyalist I don't expect this poor of treatment and disrespect from a restraunt associated with their hotel.

We were not able to have dinner in the city as everything else was booked solid and we couldn't find other options after being turned away last minute. We were traveling from Maryland and completely missed out on on a dinner experience for our first time visiting the city. I asked for a manager to call me and they never did to try and...

Service was good and friendly but the food was not. I ordered the charcuterie board room service and it was abysmal from start to finish. Not only was in haphazardly tossed into a to go container with zero consideration to presentation, the quality of meats, cheeses and crackers were no better than the local convenience store. Literally. It was a tri pack of deli meats, a disgusting pistachio loaf, regular cheddar cheese and jalapeƱo havarti, Breton and water crackers. $16 tops in the deli section poorly cut and thrown into a box. The dessert was similarly disappointing, clearly something pre-made and frozen and tossed into a box with fully melted ice cream in a plastic container. Not at all up to the standards expected at such a place and certainly not worth $73.

Came here for some dessert after eating dinner nearby. The service was great and my server Macy was delightful which is the only reason this place is getting any stars. Had the giant skillet cookie and it was just awful. It seems like the cookie was plopped into the skillet and briefly heated before serving so definitely not fresh. This explains both how quickly it came out and how none of the chocolate was even remotely melty, it wasn't even warm. Temperature aside, it had a weird stale almost mustardy aftertaste that was just an additional layer of bad. Will not be coming back.

service took forever, multiple occasions of reiterating what we had requested or ordered. Server did not stay on top of things whatsoever dispite a very slow atmosphere. Originally ordered a medium rare steak, was served a medium well steak. They come back with the steak I posted below which is very obviously quickly flash seared on a hot hot grill, so instead of cooked it’s jsut straight raw in the center and overdone outside. At this point I’m just hungry so I accepted the steak and ate the outside portions. Expected much much better
