C.R.E.A.M Cafe — Restaurant in Minneapolis

i wish I could've rated this cafe a way better rating because at first the customer service was great; yet The longer my party and I stayed it soon turned into a singled out targeting experience. I personally have never been at the cafe myself and I wanted to show my out of town guests a cute coffee spot where you can eat and enjoy different flights of coffee . As soon as we paid that's when the targeting started happening . My bill alone was about 100 dollars ; again because It was our first and we wanted to see what the cafe has to offer .

We sat down at a table and were immediately uncomfortable from the other customers in the cafe . They kept staring at us not in a friendly way . It seemed not matter if we were talking or kept our conversations to a minual there was constant eyes watching us . My party and I didnt let it affect us . Until one of the cashiers decided to walk to our table and tell us we had to eat outside , because one of my guest had her vape on the table . She never hit or blew the vape in the establishment yet the cashier was arguing that she saw her do it . We all remained in character and politely asked the cashier "if there is no seating outside to where you want us to move then you are basically kicking us out right ?" She started to get an attitude and said there is seating out there . When there wasn't because the outside patio is where we first initially wanted to sit . She proceeded to tell us we had to sit outside when She knew there was no seating accommodation outside .

this all happened the minute we were giving our food to be exact and we were still waiting for our other items that were ordered .

Me being just as shocked as my guest I walked the cashier who kicked us out and asked her again "if there is no seating accommodation to where you want us to move then you are kicking us out is my understanding." She chose to basically ignore me . Before I could even ask for a to go box another cashier was basically waving on In my face .

We ended up just leaving out meals and asking for a return within the expenses I have paid for . still being ignored then another cashier came out and said it will go to your card . I told them okay thank and please have a nice day.

I truly wish my experience was way nicer because me being a Minnesotan and I love trying new restaurants or cafes ; I personally would never go back here because of what I went through & all of my years living here I have been kicked out or targeted at a eating establishment. I could understand if my party and I were being loud or belligerent yet that wasn't the case .. And for my party being from out of state that was probably the worst experience they have...

I went here for my birthday, my honest experience was a 2/5 & I also Made a tiktok about my experience as well. The food is 4/5 flavor and prices of food are AMAZING, BUT the portions size of food is small, 1 meal may fill you up for the moment but you will be hungry again. Drinks are AMAZING very flavorful the PYT Is VERY popular. The atmosphere and aesthetic were 4/5 very busy but music was nice, it was pretty i wish they had the patio and fire pit on but they didn't… the customer service was TRASH!!!!!!!! I honestly had a horrible customer service experience, i feel the staff are colorist and treat you differently basted on the color of your skin. Its was my reservation for my birthday, upon arrival the staff never once made eye contact, or greeted ME the host greeted my friend and even stated “i shouldve know that was you when i was princess” to my friend even though MY NAME IS PRINCESS, NOT MY FRIENDS and it was MY BIRTHDAY NOT MY FRIEND! An awkward interaction similar to the previous stated one happened 3 times in 1 night where I asked for something and the server treated me like a ghost and approached my friend about something I asked for it was very annoying and seemed colorist in my opinion, its like the staff was more friendly to my friend because she brown skin and i got treated like a ghost because im light-skin which was very dissatisfying because it was MY birthday reservation & my friend wouldve never been there if I DIDNT INVITE HER! Ive been telling me everyone about this place so to have such discriminatory experiences was very hurtf And disappointing… The waiter never checked on us not 1 time! She didnt even bring out our food someone else did… the customer service experience i had was horrible i will never eat here again they ruined my birthday vibe. Food & drinks were good, I would take to go though or eat at the bar top I personally will never eat here again. Im very disappointed ruined my whole birthday dinner I would’ve went elsewhere and got treated like an human and not like a ghost as if I don’t exist… the owner Brandy was fun she tried to bring the vibes but her team already ruined the vibes being discriminative...

This café is not worth the time or money. I visited with three others on a Sunday, expecting it to be busy. We ordered food and drinks, which came to a surprising $90. After we paid, we were informed of a 15-minute wait, which seemed reasonable. However, seating options were very limited, and we struggled to find a place to sit.

About 10 minutes into waiting, we heard a call for a breakfast item that matched one of our orders, so I went to check. The woman who had taken our order then told me that our food would still take another 30 minutes, even though she initially said it would be ready sooner.

When our food finally arrived, it was disappointing. We had ordered two grilled cheeses, a breakfast burrito, and a classic breakfast sandwich. We paid extra for bacon on one grilled cheese, but it was missing. The grilled cheeses looked unappetizing, as if they were just slabs of processed cheese and shredded cheese.
