Mocha Momma's Coffee — Restaurant in Minneapolis

A couple friends and I were visiting the Minneapolis area for the first time when we happened upon this shop when we were at the library downtown. What a nice surprise! It was the perfect place to stop on a very hot day to cool off and get something to eat and drink. Our sandwiches were very tasty. I like the option of having a half sandwich, as opposed to having a whole one; plus it is less expensive and plenty to eat. Hilary was our cashier, and I have to say that she made the best iced chai latte for me. I will definitely have that again when next in the area. All in all we liked the relaxing atmosphere, the location downtown, and the unique sandwiches, baked goods, and beverages. I love mom and pop type establishments and that is what this felt like. A cool thing happened when entering the store. A very nice lady on our side of the counter, whom I realized later was either the owner or the manager, welcomed us and thanked us for coming in and letting them serve us. Wow! I was excited to try this place! They seemed nice at first and when I asked for a cup of ice to go with my drink, the cashier said yes. So I tipped the highest amt on the machine because they seemed so accommodating and nice! However, that was not the case. When my drink was made and I inquired about the ice again, and the cashier asked the owner and she said no. She said she wouldn't have enough cups. You can't imagine my disappointment.
