Wow, what a great restaurant! I've always seen these at airports or in malls but this was the full brick and morter. Loved the decor and feel. We were seated and our server Brandon had us hitting the ground running. He was very attentive, he doesn't drink but had noticed that most people get the Japanese Old Fashioned. It came in a glass with smoke in it, I've always been curious about adding smoke to beverages. I think it's gimmicky but this old fashioned was very good!
Now appetizers, we had the crab wontons, fried Green beans with spicy sauce and pork dumplings. I would skip the crab wonton, not filled very full and didn't have much flavor. I ended up using the sauce that came with the dumplings on the wontons (that sauce was amazing whole family loved it.) Dumplings were perfect; and I didn't realize one could love friend green beans! They were my favorite.
Entrees: we had a California roll, Dragon? Roll, I had the crispy Honey Chicken, and my wife had a noodle plate (sorry can't remember which one.) Dragon roll came out under glass cause of the gimmicky smoke thing, NOT a gimmick for this sushi. It is my new favorite, the smoke flavor in the sushi just hit right with the spicy (just the right amount of heat) and other flavors!! California is a larger helping than a lot of places which is very nice. And I could not get over the Crispy Honey Chicken with Fried rice. It was delicious. So tender but with a lovely crispy crunch on the outside. Needless to say we couldn't finish our plates, my wife barely took two bites of her entree.
I give it a 5 because the whole experience was good. Nice server, Brandon spoke with us about his father growing crops in Idaho. I heard another server's conversation, I believe it was Peyton? He was very funny with his jokes, I wanted to cheer him on!! Delicious food which eating out is hard to come by. Large portions and quality food. It was expensive I guess but with a place like this it is worth it. I look forward to...
Read moreNeat & upscale establishment but the service was wack! I've been to quiet a few P.F chang's and this 1 was by far nothing like the others. Our waiter took forever getting our order placed. We watched her for at least 15mins stand at the booth right next to ours have a 15min long conversation with her guest. After finally completing our orders we waited a decent amount of time for our food. Didnt mind the wait because we understood that everything was being cooked fresh. But after we got our food which was the honey chicken with white rice, and the pepper steak and a order of watons that's when the problems began. The meat from the pepper steak was really thought and the honey chicken was so bland. After waiting for our waiter to come back over to check I told her about the honey chicken and my husband's pepper steak. She did immediately offer to get me something else but nothing was offered to my husband. I ordered the beef & broccoli and told her to let the cook know I liked the broccoli well done, cooked (softly) I DONT LIKE CRUNCHING DOWN IN HARD BROCCOLI! Of course after waiting 25mins my food came out with the hard broccoli anyways. The manager offered to get me another batch of broccoli this time cooked well. Even though that meant more waiting ☹ mind you this whole time my husband food sat there and gotten cold because after a bit or 2 he could no long eat it due to the steak. He didn't say anything because he dont like being a bother. Which I totally disagree with. But needless to say service wasnt that good. Yes the manager did offer to correct my food for the 2nd time but the waiter never fixed my husband food after being made aware of his meat, she took entirely too long to get to us, and I honestly dont think we should've been charged for my food at all. Took almost an hour to receive it. Even after all the going back and forth about the broccoli. We won't be returning to...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE WITH A PARTY OF MORE THAN 4 We had a party of 8 and were told there was a 30 minute wait which we did not mind. After 45 minutes we sat a table and ordered our drinks and food because we had time to look over the menu while waiting. But after maybe 30 minutes from ordering they came to tell us they were out of eggplant and had to change one of our orders which was fine but seemed weird after such a long time to notify us. After ordering our food we had our appetizers come out at a decent time, but after waiting over an hour and a half the excuses came pouring in. Our server was very nice and offered free appetizers but we were fine. Then after asking a bus boy/kitchen worker came out and argued with us when we mentioned we had been waiting for over an hour and a half, which our server knew how long we were waiting but for some reason a bus boy decided to argue with us which was EXTREMELY RUDE. He told us that they were full, which they were not, maybe 50-60% of tables taken, then said that the rain causes more people to come out, and that they were waiting for all of our food, all lies. My boyfriend and I both worked in the restaurant business so we both knew how unprofessional this was for the busy boy to explain. We decided that after waiting that long that we would pay for our appetizers and leave, we were then given the excuse that they were waiting for one more dish to be made so all the food could arrive at the same time. But other tables of smaller parties that sat after us were getting their food at different times. There were 3 tables that sat after us that got food, ate, and paid before we ever got our food. After speaking to the manager that we were not waiting any longer we were given our appetizers for free and left. My family and I will never be eating at a PF Chang's again. One star for our server remaining calm and providing as much help...
