
My first experience here was a bad one. I notified the store and here is my second take on it. I was invited back to walk ons for the crew to attempt to get a better review from me . The team failed once again. I brought my children for my son’s 3rd #birthday . #kidfriendly . Once arriving I notified the managers why I was there. The first error made was that after notifying them that this was basically a do over, the staff still. Took forever to sit my party at a table. Once finally seated. Our waiter in a way tempted to rush us into ordering . So first I order the kids meals.y children receive hot fresh food in a good amount of time. It was a good experience for my son’s birthday. On the other hand for me and a friend of mine we were having a bad time. Our waiter took forever to come check on us. The cook took forever to prepare our meals. We received our order way after the children finished theirs . By now we take our food to go. As we sat there waiting we watched as other customers experienced a bad experience at this location. As checking out Another mistake made was that the manager did not discount both my meals , even though they told me they would. Horrible customer service. Bad servers , bad cooks. Read moreMy family came into Walk On’s 1-11-25 around 3:00p.m. Mia S. was our server. To be honest Mia could use some extra training. When my family came into Walk On’s Mia was making change at the host stand with the Hostest. I spoke to Mia and she did NOT greet us at the door. (Which is standard customer service) The hostest was very kind and apologized for our wait, and she unfortunately sat us in Mia’s section. My family ordered appetizers, drinks and food. When our food came out, we waited quite awhile for Mia to come check on us, (proper service is to check on your table two bites or with in two minutes) When I saw her walking by, I asked for extra ranch, BBQ sauce and limes, where she continued to sweep her section instead of getting us our requested items. Which ultimately made my husband’s food and my food cold because she ignored our requests. Also we never saw a manager doing table touches. Because if we had, I probably would have informed the manager of our terrible service. As for the food, I asked my husband how his food was and he said the patty was very dry and the bun was stale. The buffalo sandwich (not pictured) has to be sent back as it was order with no ranch however it came out with ranch. Other sandwiches were ok but 1 was missing its onion rings.
Fries were overcooked and many were hard. Please note none of the adult combos had seasoning on the fries as it was not an option.. But after reminding the waitress twice they had neglected to bring out the kids tender plate - by this time the buffalo sandwich had been wiped off and sent back out with just adding extra buffalo sauce on top. ( yes you could see the residual ranch under the buffalo)
On finally receiving the kids plate - all adults were half finished with full sized sandwiches- child brought to our attention her fries were spicy. Sure enough there was a cayenne blend on a childs fries. And the waitress remedies this by 1. blaming the cook for both issues as he was "new" 2. Not reviewing orders as the leave the kitchen. 3. offering ice cream to the child who has yet to eat any of the plate.
Was a disappointment and will definitely pass on our next trip...
