I arrived at 7:45 and from across the parking lot saw chairs stacked on tables. Helas! I lamented, believing they were closed. Frantically I searched for other options for a refreshing snack in the area. Starbucks? Too pretentious. Cold Stone? No savory options. Panda Express? I could never support forcing those beautiful creatures into servitude.
Despondent, I collapsed onto the hood of my car, and fought to stave off a total emotional breakdown.

What’s that!? The sound of a door swinging open. A well used door. A door through which satisfied customers come and go with fantastic pickle and pickle related products.
They were open for business. I had 15 minutes to purchase a mouthwatering pickle. Or 5.
I was greeted with a twinkling smile from not one, not two, but three bright eyed employees. Despite it being the end of what was surely a busy shift, the energy in the room was electric. One look at the large pickle jar on the counter and I was salivating, scarcely able to control myself. I was soon in possession of 3 hefty pickles. Oh the feel of those pickles in their wax paper bags! I walked outside and bit into my first pickle.
The crunch of that first bite elicited an eruption of culinary delight in my mouth. Instantly I knew I needed two more.
There’s something magical about the pickles here. Infused with a delicate balance of pickling fluids, and gently brined to perfection, they inspire descriptive adjectives only rarely used unironically: full bodied, rich, earthy. These pickles are the alpha, and the omega.
I now divide my life into two periods— before I experienced Mr. Pickle’s pickles, and after. Great pickles.

This was my first and most likely last visit to this location due to the appalling service I received. Both employees working at the time, particularly Ally's coworker, were shockingly rude and unprofessional from the moment I walked in.
They were visibly impatient and acted as though answering basic questions was a burden. When I tried to clarify parts of my order, I was met with snappy, dismissive responses. Out of three sandwiches, two were made incorrectly. That alone was frustrating, but what followed was completely unacceptable.
When I returned to ask for yellow peppers, one employee looked at the other and said, “I’m not helping him, you can.” Ally proceeded to grab a small cup, but the other employee stepped in, grabbed the peppers seemingly from where sandwich scraps go and laughed while looking at Ally. When I asked what was so funny, both turned red and offered no explanation.
This kind of behavior is not just unprofessional, it’s downright disrespectful and childish. No customer deserves to be treated with that level of hostility and mockery especially on their first visit. I left feeling disrespected, embarrassed, and irritated.
I expect management to take this complaint seriously and address the behavior of both employees involved. A follow-up would be...
Read moreI'll start by saying, we didn't even eat here.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Nobody. There was over an hour left until closing time and the young girl at the front completely ignored us, never asked to assist us and looked completely miserable.
As we were trying to let her know what it is we would like to order, she never made eye contact and muttered what we requested under her breath. Never asked if the sandwiches were meals, never repeated our request back to us until after she ASSUMED that we were finished when we actually weren't.
It was 1/7/2025 at about 650pm, she (and her co-worker who came out later after we ordered) seemed like they may have been trying to close early and were bothered at our presence.
Bottom line is this; if you don't want to work, go home and stay there. Or find another job that can accommodate uselessness.
