Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Modesto

The service at this Cold Stone was terrible. I had accompanied my parents to get ourselves desert before coming back home, unfortunately we left the cold stone disappointed in customer service.

There was sadly only one worker actually doing her part and trying her best to get ice cream to the customers all by herself so shout out to her. On the other hand there was another person behind the counter on face time with somebody, talking abruptly, loud and not wearing any gloves while fixing what appeared to be waffle cones. We had told her it was rude of her to be on her phone talking super loud with a boat load of about 7-8 customers waiting to be helped, in return she left what she was doing and went into the back to continue her conversation elsewhere. BUT this is where it gets interesting as we talked with the other employee she had told us that the lady on the phone that wasn't helping with customers turned out to be the MANAGER. terrible on the managers part especially having one of your employees apologize for your actions and behavior towards customers.

Do not go to this cold stone unless you want terrible...

Best ice cream you can get a large assortment of toppings. This place is always a favorite. The ice cream combos are pretty close to limitless. A favorite is For Coffee Lovers Great taste and nice coffee flavor. Another is MudPie Mojo. Just the right amount of frozen goodness. Also a good place for the kids if you can handle their sugar rush… gummy worms, marshmallows, chocolate chips… just to name a few additions to a “kid friendly “ menu. Also a good place to grab your doggo a treat. My Bailey loved their confectionery dog bones. No chocolate of course but still sweet enough to be a howling sensation!! Horrible customer service. Got an ice cream but they were so busy they made it extremely messy it leaked everywhere, I wasn’t upset though because only one person was making ice cream and they were really busy. 10 minutes before closed tried to use the bathroom to wash my hands and the lady denied that I could go in there just to wash my hands because it was cleaned. I would understand if I had to use the restroom but I needed to wash my hands because they made the ice cream half *ss. Will not be going to this cold stone as long as Raleigh is working there, very...
